Here is a little bit about myself and my horses. My name is Brooke and I'm 15 years old. I live in New Zealand and have my whole life!
I am training my young horse Memphis for the show ring, and together we do reining and Ranch Riding under AQHA!! I'm still very new to this sport, so I'm learning as I go and hope to inspire others to give it ago as well!🫶 On my channel you will also see daily vlogs and lots of educational content!

Right. . .
So we had an interesting ride🤦♀️ 100% all my fault! So let's break it down! I thought it would be a cute idea to film me going up the hill! We had previously centered up that hill before without me filming and Flame naturally thought that that's what we are going to do!
I only had 1 hand on the reins (I'M NOT AT ALL STATING THAT THE REINS ARE THE ONLY FORM OF 'CONTROL' BECAUSE THAT IS NOT THE CASE WHATSOEVER! ME AND FLAME ARE WORKING ON AN EMERGENCY STOP BUT IT IS NOT 100% YET!) So basically I only had one hand to hold on to the mane with!!
Anyway, Flame went up the hill FAST and I got dislodged and ended up sitting on her loins, which bothered her and even when I tried to chamber back, she still got annoyed and sensing that I was unbalanced she slammed on the breaks!!! Which is a great thing about her!
Anyway, all my fault and she got lots of treats after before walking back up the hill and she was as good as gold!🩷
Oh and the boot was a paid actor!🤦♀️

Everyone meet Emmy!
Emmy is a rising 3 year old Kaimanawa who we adopted from the April muster! Emmy has spent the last couple months at Wild Thyme Horsemanship along with several other Kaimanawas too🩷
She's very sweet and kind. Always keen to learn and just overall a really fun and sweet little alrounder🩷
I can't wait to see what the next year of adventures are to come with my mum and Emmy🥰🩷
