Recently, there has been a rise in people reuploading songs and attaching them to the wrong artist profiles across platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, YouTube Artist channels, and more.
This has already affected me, Sasoriixpp, and DJ Javi, and many other artists are dealing with the same issue.
If you ever see a song on an artist's profile that seems suspicious, please don't immediately assume they stole it. In many cases, the upload was made by a random third party—not the artist whose profile it appears on.
False accusations can seriously damage an artist's reputation and create unnecessary problems for people who are completely innocent.
Please take a moment to verify the facts before leaving comments or spreading accusations.
My version of Cry For Me Funk was reuploaded by someone without my permission. As a result the original upload lost over 17 million views. That's a BIG dea!!. It directly affects my work how many people see it and the recognition I get for the release!
Seeing someone else benefit from reuploading it while the original loses traction is NOT okay!! If I find out who reuploaded it without permission I will do everything I can to protect my work and hold them accountable. This is not about drama. It's about respecting who owns the content and the rights of people who creates them!!!!
Reuploading someone's Content without permission can have REAL CONSEQUENCES. Especially when it causes damage like this. Losing, over 17 million views is not something I will ignore!! If you were involved I suggest you fix the situation before it gets worse!!!!
