[UPDATE] I passed my last class so I am officially free from my two-year 3D animation program 🥳 I still have my day job as a junior animator yes…BUT now that I have more time, I’ll be fixing my schedule and going back to regular posting without the stress of looming school requirements. Here’s my intended plan since I missed a bunch:
- Comic will update between the last week of June and first week of July, depending on how much I will finish (and it may have a recap segment since we’re coming back from hiatus) - Will go back to posting short animations / videos around early July - Stuff for patrons will resume again (weekly production posts, my monthly exclusive doodles, etc.) - Not urgent but important tasks for me: update The File Room on tioscomic.com, animate panels from previous chapters, continue layouting the physical copy of the comic (ch.4 onwards)

I was really hoping I could squeeze out a video and comic update last March 21st, but because of the news that I’ll have to redo requirements and graduate next semester, I needed a break to destress. Sorry for the delay everyone! The news really sucked, but we keep going! 💪
So my game plan is, I’ll do my best to post a comic update and video/s this April (and my Patreon weeklies will be back to regular scheduling). Hopefully, I’ll have the comic on the 21st but due to everything going on, please don’t expect hard deadlines from me until I graduate (since school and my studio day job are taking a lot of my time). Thank you everyone for being so patient, and I hope I can come back once 3D animation school doesn’t have me in such a chokehold. In the middle of the year, I’ll probably do a short comic refresher just so we all remember what’s going on in the story after all my breaks lol. 😭

Apart from some animation memes I wanna finish, I’m posting a storytime of my first convention + a merch review with Vograce again this year! YIPEEE They got a New Year sale right now until Jan 1-2 btw 🫡 Daph will finally get his revenge on Tom from the last review video…Once I finish it lol.

Thank you for always supporting my passion, my art, and my OCs! 2025 was a busy year for me, so many new things and adjustments happened in my IRL life, but I’m glad I was still able to update the comic every month. I’m so excited for what’s in store this 2026, expect more Tom and Daph interactions + lore, especially with where we are right now in the comic. I hope you all have/had a good new years celebration!

The Interpretation of Shadows webcomic will update within this week of December! I gave myself a soft deadline on comic-posting for now because of my internship and busy schedule IRL.

Also, thank you for the reception on my 3D blender animation on Twitter and Instagram (@nyoomian), I might post it on Youtube too. People thought the flour sack was an OC so maybe I should turn the little fella into one.

Kid-me always wanted to turn my OCs into a web series, it’s amazing to see how far that goal has come, and it’s crazy to see so many others appreciate this passion project of mine. The latter baffles me the most because I work very slow as an artist, so seeing the patience and understanding TIOS readers have is very much appreciated.
Thank you for always coming back to read my webcomic. I hope I can continue to make you guys and my kid-self proud. 🥳 Here’s to more of TIOS in the future! 🥂
