Guitar Lessons by Damon Wood, former Guitarist with James Brown, The Godfather of Soul (1998-2006). Blues, Funk, Classic Rock, Jazz, Improv, Theory, Fingerpicking, etc. I've been teaching Guitar since 1990 and playing live since 1987. I toured worldwide with James Brown and his 20 piece Soul Generals and have had my own group, Damon Wood's Harmonious Junk since 2001.
DVDs/Albums/Films with JB: Woodstock 99, Glastonbury, St. Luke's London, Black Eyed Peas' They Don't Want Music, Jackie Chan's The Tuxedo (DreamWorks). I have released 3 albums, several singles and live recordings with my band and also toured and recorded with Jimmie Van Zant Band and WhiteWater Ramble. The channel started as a band page but turned its focus to Guitar Lessons.

I'm thinking of making a couple videos about my experience playing guitar for James Brown. I did write a book about it co-authored by Phil Carson, called Working for the Man, Playing in the Band, My Years with James Brown. ECW Press. 2018. Available online.
