Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre (CBMWC) is located in New Quay on the west coast of Wales and is part of The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales.
CBMWC was originally established in 1996 as a non-profit organisation dedicated to conserving Cardigan Bay’s marine wildlife through research, education and outreach. Based in a heritage building in the heart of New Quay, overlooking the beautiful beach and harbour, the centre is the focus for marine research in the area.
We operate a popular visitor centre and work in conjunction with Dolphin Survey Boat Trips who support our research and enable us to collect data on the bottlenose dolphins of Cardigan Bay and other marine wildlife.
As well as our research we run various conservation outreach projects including our live camera stream providing viewers with the chance of catching a glimpse of some of Cardigan Bay's dolphins!
We rely on donations from members of the public and profits from our small gift shop to keep us running.

We have been working hard to try to get the live camera up and running again but unfortunately we need to purchase, install and set up a whole new system. which is going to take time as we need to find funding to cover the cost. :-(

Apologies for the interruption to our daily Dolphin Watch Live stream. We had a few technical issues following storm Darragh but all should be fixed now. Thanks for your patience and continued support. :-).

Apologies our Dolphin Watch Live stream has been offline most of today due to broadband issues in the area. Looks like we are back online now though and ready for some dolphin action in New Quay!
