injury reserve's self titled is one of my favorite rap albums! really letting the member's personalities shine through in the music is a quality i have yet to see replicated, and the amount of bangers on here keeps me coming back whenever i'm not in the mood to listen to the whole thing
i don't like shit i don't go outside is a rough album, and you can feel that roughness as soon as you press play. the beats and earl's delivery together make for an atmosphere that is truly unique to this project!

deathmetal is an album i really wanted to like, but i just can't get into it. it's far too lofi for me to easily get invested in it, and while i like the singer's voice... it feels like he just doesn't do anything with it. i'm hoping this clicks with me someday but for now all it has going for it is its atmosphere, which is cool, but not enough!
not in the goodest of graces. it's been a rough week, month for me. but we continue to album. it's what keeps the world going round
rob cantor's work is underrated in my opinion! not a trampoline is not trying to be your favorite album in the world so it's easy to overshadow it with the many super conceptual tally hall projects, but it doesn't have to be the next hawaii part ii. it's a very fun time. the run of old bike -> garden of eden -> rendezvous especially fuckign GOES. You're not gonna see me giving it any awards, but you're also not gonna see me throwing complaints at it. thank you robc
okay less dramatic passage... glass houses is good! 10 billy joel rock songs that range from good to great. what more could you ask for
i'll put you in misery is a, sorry for sounding so ignorant, anime sounding album with larger than life instrumentation sung over by girls with crazy vocal ranges. is it good? i think so. but is it also so much stuff going on that it's kinda hard for me to say that with confidence, yeah. give it a month and i'm sure this will grow into a personal pick for me
20ish minutes of andrew horowitz vibes... i am always down for it. Sketches 3d is like the tally hall song You if it was just better on every front and also an album. i've given this 20 listens so far, and while i don't see myself giving it too many more because that's how you kill music for yourself, i can't say it hasn't deserved every one of them
daytona by pusha t, what a piece of art man. the vibes are so there, pusha t really delivers vocally and is super consistent at that. and it's just pretty easy to get sucked into. good music... see what i did there
the baby is you is a concept album made by a group of friends who wanted to put together an immaculate joke and did so with tons of indenting sloppiness. it's worth your 13 minutes
emergency and i! so far it's not super for me, but i understand why it is for others. the vocalist sounds so perfectly monotone to where these songs are oddly hypnotic, the instrumentation is very catchy, and it's got a few moments that did really stick with me. i hope it really clicks with me in future listens because right now it's mostly just "i recognize this is very good" and less me actually getting into it in the moment. i am very glad there are fans of this album
the stranger by billy joel! sometimes a bit too down for my tastes, but when it hits, it hits. more listens are required. but i don't wanna end this on such a nothing note, so i will say that you should listen to billy joel's cold spring harbor! great stuff
maladroit is cool! sounds very solid all around, though even after giving it as many listens as i have it still blends together a bit. i do really like keep fishing a slob, though
this was my first listen of daytona, and i'm quite excited to get more acquainted with it on future listens. first listen is really just the vibe check, but i'm assuming i'll enjoy it based off my previous experiences with 2018 7 track rap albums
i listened to self-ish again because i was hoping it would maybe turn around for me, and while i do like it a bit more, it still largely just sounds abrasive and annoying. a shame considering how much i love the normal album! 2012 is great, though
someone recommended me dismemberment plan 2 years ago... better late than never i guess. but it sounds pretty dang good based off my few listens of it so far. has potential to be a CLASSIC for me
the stranger sounds good but hasn't quite clicked with me yet. for a while i was pretty neutral on joel's debut, cold spring harbor, before it became one of my favorites so we'll see if the same happens for this. i don't have any complaints with it so far!
it was a slower music listening week for me for sure. mostly just working through some newer stuff
