PROSODIA + CONTESTO → come viene interpretato
La prosodia non è decorazione.
È parte del significato.

🧬 Knowing the name is not the same as understanding biology.
You may know what a mitochondrion, membrane, enzyme, or chromosome is called.
But biology begins to become meaningful when you ask different questions:
What does it do?
What does it interact with?
What changes if it stops working?
Why does the living system need it at all?
A definition identifies something.
Understanding explains its function, relationships, and role within a system.
That is why biology is not simply a collection of terms to memorize. It is the study of living systems — and of how their parts work together.

A physics formula does not tell you when to use it.
You can memorize F = ma.
You can know what every symbol means.
You can even solve twenty exercises built around the same pattern.
And still face a new problem and not know where to begin.
Because physics is not a collection of formulas waiting for the correct numbers.
A formula represents a model of a relationship.
Before using it, we have to understand what is happening:
What system are we describing?
Which quantities matter?
What assumptions are we making?
Which relationships apply here?
What information is irrelevant?
Only then does calculation become meaningful.
This is why getting the correct numerical answer and understanding the physics are not always the same achievement.
The equation is compressed knowledge.
Physics begins when we can unpack it.
And that is a broader educational principle: strong learning is not merely the ability to reproduce a procedure. It is the ability to recognize why, when and under what conditions that procedure makes sense.

AYNI KELİME.
FARKLI SES.
FARKLI NİYET.
“Geldin.”

cómo dirigirse a alguien,

You understand the language.
You recognize the words.
You follow the grammar.
You may understand almost everything someone says.
Then they ask you a question — and suddenly speaking feels much harder.
Why?
Because understanding and speaking are not the same operation.
There is a progression from:
recognition → retrieval → construction → adaptation → spontaneous communication
A word you recognize is not necessarily a word you can retrieve instantly.
A grammar rule you understand is not necessarily a grammatical choice you can make automatically while speaking.
And a sentence you can complete in an exercise is not necessarily a sentence you can create when nobody gives you the beginning.
This is why “I understand the language, but I can’t speak it” is not a contradiction.
It tells us something very specific about what needs to develop next.
I explore the complete mechanism in our new article.

YOUR EARS HEARD FINNISH.
But what did your brain hear?
When we listen to a new language, the brain does not start from zero.
It searches for sound patterns it already knows.
And sometimes it finds a familiar pattern where the actual meaning is completely different.
👂 Finnish sound
↓
🧠 “This sounds familiar…”
↓
⚠️ Wrong association
Learning Finnish also means retraining this automatic reaction:
SOUND → FINNISH CONTEXT → ACTUAL MEANING
You don’t hear with your ears alone.
You hear with the languages you already know.
