Friends, someone has once again stolen my profile photo and channel description, and created a spam account under the username “Shannon Makess” (with 2 “s”)

I have reported the channel to YouTube, as have some of you, but I don’t know how quickly they will act, so I just wanted everyone to be aware.

So if you see a spamming comment, asking you to call a certain number, contact me in WhatsApp, or reveal personal information… Please know that is not me, and do not call or give info!

🚨🧵Community Fabric Update🧵🚨

I've gotten some questions from people asking if I've gotten their package, if I've opened it, if I enjoyed the (undoubtedly amazing) things they sent, etc., and while the questions and inquiries are very understandable, unfortunately between the house that's been in dire need of TLC and some family health emergencies, I've been unable to open any packages yet.


Trust me, I am *dying* to see what you all sent! I'm so eager and very much looking forward to it, but I just haven't had the time. In fact I haven't even been able to bring all of the fabric back into Canada yet (see photo #2) because y'all are just so amazing and generous that it's taken 3 suitcases so far, and I still have roughly half the mail left in the US.

The whole house project --and if you've ever done whole house renovations of your own, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about -- is an exercise in prioritization and triage. It's been a skill I've excelled at since I was pretty young, and it continues to be exercised well into adulthood, and unfortunately for all of us (cuz we're ALL looking forward to seeing what's in those packages), opening the mail has had to take a backseat to other more dire or immediately deteriorating issues.

I will get to it, I have blocked off some time to sit down and do some filming sessions in the near future, but in the meantime, please know that I am both thrilled and deeply touched by your generosity and also that I do not have the time (or even the ability, most of the time) to go through and let individuals know if I've received their specific package. THIS IS WHAT THE A.I. OVERLORDS COULD HELP WITH but instead, they're too busy generating images of superhero squirrels delivering hoagies by bike through Central Park.

So please enjoy instead a small sample of my latest EPP project, created using my Bilbo Baggins patchwork template and a mixture of fabrics that I had in a small stash that I keep at a relative's house (a stash which now includes some of the community patchwork fabric that was brought to Norway with me last summer).
