Hey, guys. It's me. I want to explain why I haven't been on YouTube that much anymore. Well some of you may know by now that back in November of last year, I have started a NickToons crossover fan series called "NickToons: Animal Frenzy" and a year later, it has became pretty successful. And quite frankly, I have focusing on this fan series more than my YouTube channel. I have been constantly working my series instead of my YouTube channel. I'm sure you guys were worried about me, but I want to say that I am alive and well, just doing something different outside of HockeyFreak Johnson. As of today, as much as it hurts me to say this, but I want to say that I am retiring from YouTube (at least from HockeyFreak Johnson) so that I can focus on my fan series and of course life and other things. It was a blast being a part of YouTube and I want to thank my very good best friends ‪@CS5UNMASKED‬ ‪@X_ST3ALTH_X‬ ‪@fliptoys7240‬ ‪@mikejordan8259‬ ‪@BigHush‬ and much more for allowing me to be on this wonderful journey. However. I won't be gone from YouTube entirely. Starting soon, I will be posting more episodes of my fan series on the NickToons: Animal Frenzy Channel. Don't worry, My channel won't be deleted or anything, it will just be inactive. But I want to thank all of you for being on this incredible journey with me for so many years. There sure were some ups and downs, twists and turns and I am very grateful and blessed to be able to be a part of this channel. Now, maybe one day I will return to the channel, but for now. This is basically....the end. Thank you all for being with me for all these years, but it's time for me to move on and focus on my fan series and spending time with my family and friends. What a devastating and surreal week it has been. We’re reeling from the loss of three iconic figures who shaped entertainment and culture in profound ways. First, we mourned the passing of Malcolm Jamal Warner, then the Godfather of Heavy Metal, Ozzy Osbourne, and now, just today, we’ve lost another true legend—professional wrestling icon and WWE Hall of Famer, Hulk Hogan. The weight of these losses is overwhelming, and it’s hard to believe we’re losing so many incredible people in such a short time. As a huge wrestling fan, I had always hoped to meet Hulk Hogan, but sadly, that dream will never come to pass. Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, was a titan in professional wrestling. A 12-time World Champion, he won the WWF/WWE Championship six times and the WCW World Heavyweight Championship six times. He was a two-time Royal Rumble winner (1990–1991) and a two-time WWE Hall of Famer, inducted in 2005 and again in 2020 as part of the New World Order (nWo). Rising to superstardom in the 1980s, Hogan main-evented the inaugural WrestleMania in 1985, held the WWF Championship for much of the decade, and fueled the mainstream wrestling boom with his larger-than-life persona. As the leader of the infamous nWo in WCW and WWF/WWE, he redefined wrestling’s landscape. His most iconic moment—lifting Andre The Giant at WrestleMania 3 in 1987 at the Pontiac Silverdome—remains one of the most legendary feats in wrestling history. One of pop culture’s most recognizable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s and made WWE a household name. Yes, there are a lot of controversies surrounding Hulk Hogan. There are a lot of things he said that are just plain right nasty and disgusting, but this isn’t the time for that. Hulk Hogan is undoubtedly one of, if not the biggest names in professional wrestling history. Would our favorite superstars even be here today without Hulk Hogan? Would professional wrestling even be what it is today without Hulk Hogan? No one can answer that question. This week has been an emotional rollercoaster, with the loss of these giants leaving a void in our hearts. As a devoted pro-wrestling fan and on behalf of the whole pro-wrestling world, I want to say: Thank you, Hogan. Your legacy, and the unstoppable force of Hulkamania, will live on forever in the world of professional wrestling. Our thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences go out to Hogan’s family, friends, loved ones, fellow wrestlers, and fans worldwide. We also extend our sympathies to the families and fans of Malcolm Jamal Warner and Ozzy Osbourne. Rest in Peace, Hulk Hogan and Rest In Peace Ozzy and Malcom. You will all be missed, but never forgotten. Dear Friends, Loved ones and my fellow Hockey Freak fanatics. I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your prayers for my beloved dog, Nick, a 13-year-old black chow-collie mix who may not have much time left. Nick came into my life in 2012 as an early birthday present in Yanceyville, and I’ll never forget how joyful he was when I adopted him and his companion, Molly. Nick, once called “Blackie,” has been my light, my rock, and one of my best friends. He’s the best dog I could ever ask for, always there with kisses, snuggles, and unwavering love.
Today, Nick was injured in a fight with Molly, and his leg is badly hurt. He can’t stand, lift his leg to urinate, or squat to use the bathroom. Watching him struggle is breaking my heart, especially as I fear we may be nearing the end. This year has already been so hard—June marks the 10-year anniversary of my dad’s passing—and now the thought of losing Nick feels overwhelming. My family and I are carrying so much sadness right now.
Please pray for Nick, that he feels comfort and peace, free from pain. Pray for my family and me as we navigate this grief and face the possibility of saying goodbye. If it’s God’s will, we hope for healing, but if not, we ask for strength to let Nick go, knowing he’ll always be my good boy.
Nick, if this is our final moment, I want you to know I love you so much. Thank you for being my companion, my best friend, and for every memory—every kiss, every snuggle against my legs. You’ll forever be in my heart.
