It's that time again! I painfully deliberated on my favorite horror-centric films of the year. It crushed me to leave some off the list, and it was even more difficult to put them in the correct order. Once you get down to the final four, they're basically interchangeable, but this is what I settled on.

I will always be honest with you all. Clown in a Cornfield wasn't for me. I felt it relied on too many slasher tropes and doesn't elevate them in any way. The story is almost exactly the same as one of my favorite films from 2007, which I will not reveal as it spoils the plot of CiaC. I am sure this film has an audience, so do not let my opinion stop you from seeing it if you loved the book or were looking forward to it. There are some twists that some of you will love.
