I did my first proper live stream today on the new channel, MrT IRL, and honestly… it went much better than I expected πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

It was almost 2 hours live from the kitchen, just raw, real-time kitchen atmosphere & service!

And somehow, the new channel has already passed 1,000 subscribers β€” now sitting at 1,042, which is absolutely bonkers! Thank you so much to everyone who has already subscribed.

I created MrT IRL to experiment with live streams, behind-the-scenes content, and more casual real-life content without changing the style of this main channel.

This channel will be separate from my main POV cooking videos β€” more casual, raw vertical phone footage, live streams, work moments, food, Momo, home life and whatever else happens.

I’ve created a new channel called **MrT IRL**, where I want to experiment more with live streams and real-life content:

The main idea is live streaming β€” mostly from work, but not only work. It could be kitchen streams, editing videos, home cooking, Momo content, or anything else I fancy sharing.

I decided to do this because the live stream of my older and newer videos on my second channel, **MrT’s Kitchen**, is going really well:

I really like the idea that my older videos are not just gathering dust on a hard drive anymore. They have become a proper background channel for a lot of people, and that made me think there is room for something even more raw and live.



I don’t want to mix this type of content with my main MrT channel, because I feel the main channel is perfect the way it is at the moment: proper long-form POV cooking videos, edited and uploaded when they are ready.



**MrT IRL** will be different. More raw, more random, no editing β€” just real life as it happens.

I’ll also post some older short food videos I used to upload to Twitter/X before I started properly on YouTube, but the main focus of this new channel will be live streaming.

Today I made a simple one-pan mushroom pasta with chestnut mushrooms, garlic, parsley, butter, olive oil and parmesan.

Nothing fancy, just proper comfort food with simple ingredients. The pasta water does most of the magic, bringing everything together.

This one turned into a proper long-form pasta day: fresh pasta, beef ragΓΉ, onion ragΓΉ, a long mise en place, then busy lunch service.

The big question from the comments is interesting…

Is making fresh pasta worth the extra effort in a busy canteen, or would dried pasta do the job just as well?
