- my bolt and miley hyperfixations are entirely unrelated. the former started more than 4 months before the latter. no bias involved, just a fun coincidence!

Once again, several months have passed since I last made a video that wasn't a gift for someone and I apologize for that. I've got a few more weeks until I'm through with birthday videos for a while but I do have some non-gift video ideas that I hope to work on soon!

You know how some movies aren't well received when they're released but get more acclaim in retrospect years later? In a weird way, that's how I feel about this video.
This was the last time I made a Hannah Montana anniversary video because it just became too much work every year. My focused started to shift from Miley/Hannah to Dove Cameron/Liv and Maddie in 2014 and by the time I made this, 2018, I was very heavily focused on Dove (to an unhealthy extent in some ways, which is probably part of why I was less focused on Miley.) So when I made this, I was kind of just going through the motions and thought the turn out was fine but nothing special.
In light of her Grammy wins, Disney Legend award, and a number of other events this year, on top of Dove being the most radio silent I've ever seen her, Miley/Hannah have become more prominent in my mind once again and it's been extremely cathartic for me. I even finally rewatched the series, something I've often been afraid to do due to triggers it brings up.
I recently rewatched this and have found myself loving it and am very proud of it now. I feel a connection to the character that I didn't feel as strongly in 2018, so I'm glad I can fully appreciate it now. (I also think I love it because it's one of my only Hannah videos in this good of quality. While I'm proud of most of my older ones, the video quality isn't great.)
I have an idea for a new Hannah edit so hopefully once I'm done with these birthday videos, I'll be able to get that started!

Thanks for 8k subs! I'm still amazed I've been able to get this many subscribers this fast. Once again, it's a little too fast for me to turn out celebration vids lol, but I'll def do something when I hit 10k!
