I don’t know if you’re like me, but I am getting older. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Don’t get me wrong…I am thankful for the opportunity. Each day that God gives me is a blessing. But I don’t necessarily want to LOOK LIKE what I have BEEN THROUGH, if you catch my drift. 😬

Y’all, I have that crepey skin. My poor legs (and even my arms) had gotten so crepey and wrinkled. Amy told me about this lotion and I figured that it wouldn’t hurt to try.

This morning, I just finished off my second bottle.

I immediately went in my Walmart+ app and ordered 2 more bottles to come with my grocery delivery. This stuff is the real deal. I am not going to be without it.

Is it a miracle cure in a bottle? Nope. Has it helped the appearance of my crepey skin? Yes it has. Not only that, it smells so clean and fresh. Not an overbearing smell at all.

With shorts and capri pants season on the horizon, now is the time to start getting ready. Once I started using this, it took me about 2 -3 weeks to see a difference. Order you some now, and a month from now, you will thank me. I use it in the mornings when I get dressed and again before I go to bed. I haven’t steered you wrong yet, friends. Trust me on this. I can’t believe that I let myself run out, but thanks to Walmart+, I will have 2 more bottles this afternoon. 👏🏼

Happy Wednesday my friends!

What are you doing today? I promise, I am going to try to do a Q&A video with Harold. You all love them, and I know we are behind. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I am going to work on it.

Have y’all started your spring decorating? Remember the last Dollar Tree video I did with the Easter decorations? Well Amy went and got her one of the grass-flocked bunnies. She cut off the jute that was tied around its neck and tied this ribbon on it instead. She stuck it on her Hoosier cabinet and I just love it! I went over there to visit John Sutton and I saw it and had to snap this picture for y’all. This is what I mean - don’t overlook those Dollar Tree items. You can make them beautiful!

Hey Friends! Let’s talk cookies. You already know that Harold’s favorite treats are cookies. Well, for a cookie lover, it’s the best time of the year. It’s Girl Scout cookie time! A local troop was set up and selling this weekend, and Amy went to get some. That got us talking, and I thought I would ask you all. Do you like Girl Scout cookies like we do? And if so - tell me what is your favorite kind. I’ll go first.

Ok, y’all. We are officially artists now. 🎨

If you watched our live this morning then you already know that Amy, her best friend Brigitte, and Brigitte’s mom, Shirley, and I went to a local senior center for a watercolor class. We had the absolute best time! Our teacher is wonderful (and patient) and all the other people in the class are funny and on our level artistically. Our birds may not be perfect, but we are pretty proud of them. Amy and I stopped by the Dollar Tree on our way home and got frames for ours! 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

I love getting to do these fun things with the people that I love. Do you do any kind of classes? If so, what do you do? Watercolor painting is pretty forgiving, and I enjoy doing it. We can’t wait for the next class. What do you think about our masterpieces? Can you tell they are birds?

Today (Sunday) Kylie and John Sutton were showered by some precious ladies. Everything was perfect - from the food, to the decorations, to the gifts. These women are blessings and they sure blessed my people today.

What is it about shower food that makes it so delicious? We had wonderful cream cheese cupcakes, chicken salad croissants, a vegetable platter, fruit and fruit dip, a cheese ring with strawberry preserves, and tea and water. I ate way too much, and loved every bite.

John Sutton’s baby shower was supposed to be held earlier in the year, but he came early so it had to be postponed. Because of that, he got to attend his party! He looked precious in his little bubble, and he slept the whole time (when he wasn’t eating). Kylie said that of course he scratched his little face after church this morning, but he was still a little doll.

Friends are a treasure and a blessing, and I am thankful for these sweet ladies for showering Kylie and John Sutton, and also for all the ones that attended today. It was a great day.

Whew - y’all have strong feelings on the porch geese. Many of you love them and shared your pictures and stories of your porch geese. I enjoyed seeing them all. I think they are so cute and honestly, just fun!

Some of you “can’t stand” plastic geese, and “wouldn’t dare have that junk on your porch.” Ok then. By all means, nobody is forcing you. It’s ok not to like something but not be ugly about it. Believe it or not, you can even dislike something and not criticize people who do like it.

Then, there was a group of people who think that all geese, be they plastic, concrete, or any other material, are “just plain stupid.” Again, you can think anything that you want, but you really don’t have to say it. Or type it. It’s ok to just think it.

Long before I got Roxie, I had Miss Bunny. Many of you remembered her and asked about her. That made me smile! I dressed Miss Bunny for all the occasions for years. With her being concrete, it wasn’t always easy to find clothes that fit her well (hence her topless 4th of July outfit seen below). I found these few pictures that I had previously shared of Miss Bunny, so wanted to reshare them today. Amy and I had fun thrifting her outfits. I will still dress her when I can, in addition to Roxie. They both make me smile, so I’m going to dress them.

I had several questions asking about where I got Roxie’s name. I had an Aunt Roxie, and I loved her. She was fun and sassy, so I thought that Roxie was a perfect name. I may just get Roxie and Miss Bunny both a NO ROTTEN POTATOES shirt. I think that would great additions to their wardrobe.

I hope you all have a wonderful Friday. No matter if you have a plastic, concrete, wood, steel, or marshmallow porch goose - or no goose at all. You do what makes you happy, and do something to make you smile. We need more of that in this world. I love you, Roxie loves you, and Miss Bunny loves you. Be salt and light…and be NICE. 🪿

Ok friends, I have a new family member to introduce you to. Meet Roxie. She’s my new porch goose, and I love her!

I have seen them all over social media, and I think they are the cutest thing ever. I’ve had her for a while, but I have been waiting on her clothes to come in. I am not at all ashamed to say that Roxie has several outfits and she is going to be the best dressed goose on the block…until Amy gets her one.

Back to normal, today, my friends. Happy Tuesday!

I was slow moving this morning. I had the best time at MeMe’s, but I am glad to be home. I will be sharing some things that I got antiquing with MeMe and company a little later.
