I guess we’ve experienced all of those extremes that our vows covered over the last 54 years. I am thankful for all of it, because I can see God’s hand in it all. It hasn’t always been easy, but it sure has been worth it.

Today is our anniversary. I sure do hope we get to celebrate many, many more.

Hey friends. I had to share this with y’all for a few reasons.

First of all, look at precious John Sutton. He has grown so much, and he really is the best baby I have ever seen. Kylie has an app on her phone that does the white noise, and he has used it to sleep. The only issue is that it’s on her phone, so that ties up her phone when he is using it. Well, she found a perfect little sound machine that can clip to his car seat, crib, stroller, etc and ordered it for him. It has been amazing! This baby loves it!

Well, wouldn’t you know it, when Mason saw this new gadget, he wanted one. He has never been interested in sleeping with any noise, but John Sutton’s sound cube makes cool noises (white noise, birds/outdoors, the beach, heart beat, even a shhhhhh sound) AND it has different light settings. So all of a sudden, Mason thinks he needs to sleep with a sound machine. Amy ordered one for him and he was stalking the window waiting for his “libery” (delivery).

You know how when Walmart+ delivers, they take a picture of the delivery to ensure that it’s at the right place. Well, Mason was so happy he wouldn’t let them put it down. Y’all, Amy said the sweet delivery driver was so good with Mason and told him, “You just smile buddy. You can be in the picture.” This is the picture that was in her app. Is that not just something else? ❤️

If you or someone you know needs a great little portable sound machine that can double as a nightlight, my 2 great grandsons can sure vouch for this one. I am sharing the link in the comments. I bet you can even be in the delivery picture if you’d like. ❤️

Good morning, friends!

I realized that I have shared some of Amy’s patriotic decorations, but I haven’t shared mine. Well, here ya go! You can see that I just take what I already have and add some flags and red, white, and blue accents to it. You don’t have to spend a lot of money or buy all new decorations when you want to decorate for a holiday. We also shop the thrift stores AFTER a holiday and buy items that are on a big sale to use in the future.

HAPPY SUNDAY!

Harold and I took this picture before church this morning, but with such a busy day, I completely forgot to post it until now. Today, I’ve been thinking about John’s sweet mama from Coffee Time with John and Momma. I can only imagine how much she misses him. Please join me in praying for her comfort, strength, and peace in the days ahead.

Ok friends. You all know how I have fallen in love with Mahjong. I get so many messages saying that you want to get started, but you don’t know where to start. When Amy first learned to play, she bought a set at Sam’s Club. It was $150 and had everything she would need to play. Y’all, I recently saw that Walmart had a Mahjong set for this incredible price, and I couldn’t believe it. You get the mat, 4 racks, a set of tiles, a tile bag, and a carrying bag for $143. If you know anything about Mahjong, you know what a deal this is. I would grab it while you can get it for this price, because I bet it either sells out fast, or it won’t be at this price for long. I’m including a picture of my mahjong table group at yesterday’s open play at the library…and my MAHJONG!

Ok y’all. You know that I like to share my recommendations with you all. Well if you have a Trader Joe’s near you, add this one to the list. I make fried potatoes often, so I don’t buy the frozen ones that much. These are ones that I am going to be sure to keep stocked in my freezer. They have a little kick to them, and they were so good! You can have them for breakfast or with a regular meal. They are GOOD. Have you ever had them?

I may not have all of my patriotic decorations our just yet, but you better believe that Roxie the Porch Goose is ready! Back when I used to decorate Miss Bunny, I had to buy baby clothes from the thrift store and cut them to get them on her. I’m so glad that porch geese wardrobes are a thing now, and I can just order clothes for Roxie that will fit her. Do you have your porch goose decorated? If so, show us in the comments!
