Originally released in 2006, “Bringing Back the Bloodshed” quickly became a cult favourite among fans of horror-themed extreme metal. The album is a relentless fusion of death metal, thrash, grindcore, and punk, all drenched in slasher film nostalgia. Its 12 tracks are loaded with cinematic samples, gruesome storytelling, and a tongue-in-cheek love for B-movie gore.

The cassette reissue by CDN Records not only reintroduced this underground gem to a new generation of metalheads but also paid homage to the genre’s cassette-era roots. Now we’re bringing it back in dripping CD format.

A savage evolution of their early demo era — now weaponized with bone-crushing production by Matt McGrath (Raven Recording Studios) — this record doesn’t just revisit their past… it digs it up, desecrates it, and spits bile in its face.

This is death metal dragged through the mud, writhing in its own blood. Unrelenting riffs, guttural convulsions, and a rawness that reeks of basements, VFW halls, and bodies left to fester. GAFFED took the framework of their '90s demo material and surgically reworked it into something even more hostile — still rooted in the old school, but reborn through pain and rot.
