Hmmm does he really need a skid steer? He is a skid steer.

One second he’s a telehandler, next second ...poof...gone like he hit maximum horsepower and ascended.

Out here on the edge of the wilderness, the land doesn’t ask permission . . . it just acts. We built this corduroy bridge to reach the back of our property and start carving a walking and cycling trail. But after a warm spell and heavy rain, that quiet brook turned wild, ripped the bridge loose, and dragged it 30 feet downstream into a mess of trees and brush.

Hubby headed out to bring it home with nothing but a steel cable, a lifting strap, a come‑along, and a whole lot of stubborn patience. In this video, you’ll see him use his Kress KG343 pruning saw to clear the debris, then wrestle that bridge out of the tangle, drag it back upriver, and set it right where it belongs. And once it was back in place, He made sure it’s secured tight just in case the brook decides to test us again.

23 years ago when we built our current home I bought Hubby a full Dewalt set of tools as pre-payment for his labour - He jokes this turns out to be 53cents an hour LOL. Now with the new homestead on the horizon, hubby invested in a new Milwaukie set - he's like a kid in a candy shop.

I keep hubby well-fueled like on premium treats, and he runs around fixing my car like I’m his favorite customer. 😉
