Maggie Lynn Heron-Heidel has written numerous scifi action & adventure and urban fantasy books, including her award-winning military science fiction series DESTINY IN THE SHADOWS | Cyberpunk Bionic Assassins. She is also an actress, filmmaker and after receiving a kidney transplant in 2022, she remains an advocate for dialysis and transplant patients. She lives in the USA with her adopted husky Ser Mishka who may or may not be a dormant fae wolf shifter.
Her other novel titles include Cursed Hart, Wings of Caligo, The Vampire's Handmaiden, Outfoxed, and more.
War Machine won silver and bronze medals at the 2017 Virtual Fantasy Con Awards. Her Christmas novella THE SWAN PRINCES also took home Silver for Best Fairytale 2018 at the Golden Squirrel Awards.
