Just came across this interesting Tweet by Netanyahu’s son, who is a podcaster in Israel. And I'm convinced that you’ll start seeing more comments like this one in the future.
While this is primarily intended as a rebuttal to the plans by Canada, France and the UK to (possibly) recognise the Palestinian state, I'm sure that the Kurdish example he chose was NOT a coincidence. The 12-day war made it clear that trying to bring about regime change in Iran through military intervention and a popular uprising isn’t really a realistic goal, even with the support of the Iranian diaspora. Therefore, we’re likely to see a shift in strategy by Israel and the US.
Instead of focusing on creating an environment for regime-change, more attention will be gradually given to Iran’s ethnic and regional minority groups with separatist sentiments to destabilise it. So don't be surprised when aside from the Kurds, the Balochis, and Ahwazi Arabs become a bigger topic in the discourse on Iran in the coming months.
If you haven't seen it already, I just discussed this topic in my most recent video - go check it out and let me know what you think!
