Chapter 02 Development Update: New Horrors & The First Playtest

The team has been hard at work bringing the next areas of Site-113 to life, and we're excited to share another massive development update with you all!

Our latest Steam Announcement is now live, and it's one of our biggest yet, featuring:

• First looks at new environments like the improved Terminal 07 Tram Station, the ominous Interrogation Room, the story-critical Overseer's Office, and the expanded Museum
• A deep dive into the game-changing Wrist Device, with a video showcasing its teleportation and recharge mechanics
• An introduction to Scranton Reality Anchors (SRAs) and how they will dynamically affect gameplay
• A look at our first flying enemy, SCP-149, and the terrifying new infection mechanic
• Details on upcoming teaser videos for the next SCP, and a reveal of the new MTF armor for Site-113's Security Forces

Chapter 02 Development Deep Dive: New Zones, Enemies & Mechanics!

Since our last check-in, we've been deep in the depths of Site-113 crafting new terrors and mysteries for Chapter 02! Things are progressing at an awesome pace, and we're excited to share a massive development update.

Our latest Steam Announcement is live, and it's packed with:

- First looks at new WIP environments like the eerie Overseer's & Secretary's Offices, the expansive Residential Zone West Wing with its new skybox, the lore-filled Site-113 Museum, and the dangerous Central Hub + Elevator sequence.

- Introductions to new characters and threats, including the formidable A-34 Security Androids and their new animations, as well as the new Security Turrets.

- WIP showcases of core mechanics like the Crafting Bench and the new Skill Tree.

- New visual effects like Reality Waves and Shards to bring Site-113's breakdown to life.

- And a peek at the Assistant Android and a special puzzle tied to it!

It's officially been two months since SCP: Fragmented Minds launched. This was the biggest step in our studio's history, and the journey so far, fueled by your feedback and support, has been amazing. We're thrilled and humbled by the 93% positive rating on Steam, so thank you everyone so much!
