The age of steam, for most people it's old technology but to us it's the golden age of the railways.

Welcome to my channel and if your a fan of steam engines then you've come to the right place. Despite being one of the younger generation of railway enthusiasts im a huge fan of steam locomotives and steam traction. On this channel there is a mix of both video's that were shot at heritage railways during either normal working days or even during special events like a spring or autumn steam gala. There is also video's of railtours from both lineside/station locations aswell as from on-board.

I even on numerous occasions film some gaming footage from when iv been playing the game Train Simulator and very recently other Xbox games like Harry Potter. I've also started playing PS4 games like Driveclub and Train Sim World.

Enjoy my video's and don't forget to hit the subscribe button for all the latest video's on the channel.

Just under 5 weeks remain until the 2025 autumn steam gala at the Severn Valley Railway and so far we have quite a good lineup planned as there's 4 visiting engines planned with the 4th yet to be announced. Including the 4th visiting engine there is going to be a total of eleven steam locomotives operating at the 2025 autumn steam gala. So far the line up includes a Great Western hall (4930 Hagley Hall), manor (7802 Bradley Manor) + LMS Mogul (13268) from the home fleet of engines including other home residents.

Visiting locos wise there's: NCB 49 (Austerity 0-6-0ST), 35006 P&O S.N.Co (SR Rebuilt Merchant Navy) & 73082 "Camelot" (BR Standard class 5 4-6-0). The 4th loco is yet to be confirmed but the main positive for me is with this amount of guest locos including home residents there will not be any DMU services running at what is supposed to be purely a steam gala. Like 2024's autumn gala aswell as this years spring steam gala, I will be down for the duration of the gala to get the best out of the weekend. If anyone else here is planning to attend the gala do feel free to come and have a chat and to those new people visiting my channel don't forget to like my content aswell as share & remember to subscribe.

So far a packed programme of railtours have been booked or are in my planning books for 2025 during the big Railway 200 anniversary year.

The first was March's "Shap Mountaineer" with 45596 Bahamas and I will be visiting Scarborough this weekend when 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe while hauling "The White Rose".

I will be going on a second "Shap Mountaineer" in September which will be with 7029 Clun Castle and will also be my first outing down the S&C behind a western engine. Two further outings behind 7029 following this trip are going/planned to be done, the one I haven't yet booked is "The Cathedrals Express" tour that visits Newcastle but I have now booked the second trip which will be the "Farewell to Steam Special" in November. This tour also being an anniversary run to mark almost 60 years since the original tour in 1965.

Tickets for this trip are £165pp for tourist seating.
