Rodrigo Moreira is a Portuguese singer-songwriter who first captured national attention at the age of nine as the youngest contestant on A Tua Cara Não Me É Estranha Kids (TVI). He later returned to television in RTP1’s La Banda, experiences that helped shape his artistic identity and confirmed music as his path.
Alongside writing and performing his own music, Rodrigo has also lent his voice to television soundtracks, including Amor Amor. In 2023, he debuted as an original artist with the single TENTO, followed by FADE AWAY in 2024. In 2025, he returned to TVI as a contestant on Funtástico while continuing to develop his debut album.
Now, with MEMÓRIAS, Rodrigo opens the second act of his debut album, expanding the deeply personal pop sound introduced in his previous releases. Through intimate lyrics, cinematic storytelling and an honest approach to love, loss and memory, he is steadily establishing a distinctive voice in Portuguese pop.

My newest and sophomore single “FADE AWAY” is coming out tomorrow. It continues to unveil a bit more of my upcoming project, picking up the narrative where “TENTO” left it.
It’s another energetic pop-rock song that brings you back to the early 2000s, and is inspired by the same romantic, dreamy, almost innocent stage of loving someone.
While in “TENTO” i highlighted the importance of ALWAYS trying to see the better side of it, with hope, and never letting our past define our present, in “FADE AWAY” i wanna point out how important it is to LOVE ourselves FIRST and not let our own self fade away to match ones point of view. Even tho sometimes, blinded by love, we tend to risk it all just to be with someone who we think is the one for us, not always is that person MEANT for us and that’s ok. That’s life. It’s no one’s fault. So TRY! But don’t let yourself FADE AWAY.
I am beyond happy with the final result of this track and I couldn’t be happier for it to be yours soon.
