Hey Friends!
There will be no menu plan video today. Doug’s surgery is scheduled for Monday, and he will be in the hospital for a few days and I will be staying with him, so not a lot of cooking her next week. I have a loose plan in place in case he is home earlier than expected! Please continue to pray for a successful and uneventful surgery for him!
I am filming a weekend vlog, as this is a big weekend for him on his diaconate journey and we want to share that with you!! See you in my next video!

FANTASTIC DOUG UPDATE!!!!
Praise God!! Guys-you are not going to be this-even the doctors were shocked! Before they jumped head first into the stent, they wanted more images so they went through the groin and and did an angiogram… they were shocked and surprised at what they saw-he DID NOT NEED A STENT!!! These new images they took gave a whole new perspective and they didn’t have to do anything! The plan is to manage with medication and close follow up. Down the line we have to revisit but for now all is good! And he is cleared for his cancer surgery to happen soon!! No one will convince me that the power of prayer did not help with these results. Thank you all so much-keep praying for a successful surgery #2-cancer surgery should be in a few weeks!!

DOUG UPDATE
So, he went in for a cardiac cath this morning to get cardiac clearance for surgery and to see if they could figure out the breathing issues. Well, it didn’t go so great! Doug had A LOT of chest radiation when he was 15/16 years old when he had Hodgkin’s Disease, and now has lots of scar tissue in his heart/arteries from the radiation. Because it’s scar tissue, they cannot do stents, they need to do bypass surgery. So, he is being transferred to Cooper to have that done hopefully tomorrow or Saturday. This will definitely mess with the cancer surgery that was supposed to happen. Our cancer team will get together at Cooper at figure it all out. Please storm the heavens with prayers, this is not an easy surgery or recovery, especially when dealing with cancer at the same time. Pray, pray, pray!

Website update!
So, the new name is working, but….all of the recipe links are not because they are to the OLD website! So, over the next week I will be going in and manually fixing them. I have about 525 recipes, so it will take me a bit, but they will get done. I am done about 60 now. Doug has chemo on Wednesday, so that is a good 4 or so hours for me to work on it.
Please give me some grace and have a little patience-it will get done. If there is a recipe you need that is not working-just reach out and let me know and I will fix it. Each recipe takes about 30 seconds to fix!
