I'm going to have to move the GWE-R stream to tomorrow instead, and it will be a mastery stream for the scenario goal for this month. I'm planning to only do the 5 scenarios that come with the route.

Enjoy 4 videos of the route that were published today found in the videos tab.

The recording/streaming rig is now stable again thanks to updating the firmware on my SSD. If you have a WD SN770 laying around and are using it as a boot drive, you may want to check the firmware.

I decided that I may have to switch back to one PC for everything since my streaming rig still wants to be unstable while doing CPU stress tests and randomly crashing. Good news that I managed to find my scene collections that were from July 2025 in a drive that I had to manually activate back, so that is recent with no major changes. Now it will be my Stream Deck that I'm going to have to rebuild back.

Just an update: I managed to reinstall Windows on the streaming rig after countless failed attempts, and switching to Linux Mint wasn't going to cut it due to the hardware that I'm using only being meant for Windows.

The bad news is I lost my OBS Scene Collections and my Stream Deck profiles, so I'm going to have to build those back up from scratch. However, the good thing is I got the 805 journey done before all of this occurred but need to get those videos starting from tomorrow scheduled.

I just wish Microsoft didn't release those security updates, but their QA team needs to be cautious if it is okay to include them; otherwise, it gets worse. After the update yesterday, I got a Black Screen of Death but with an error message that went away quickly, and after several, I got a regular BSOD saying that Critical Process Died so probably the update corrupted the OS.

It seems like Windows Update decided to wreck my streaming PC and make it unstable. Going to have to give it a reinstall. I'm not sure when I'm going to be back to record or stream anything, but it seems like Microsoft decided to create a shitshow after I was dealing with some flooding issues in my house.

I decided to cancel tomorrow's American Truck Simulator stream due to trying to finish some projects. The next possible stream will be a Train Sim World stream on February 5th. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

I decided to not use the TSC-X controller for the foreseeable on since I think it is the PieHid64.dll file in order to run Cobra's software that I need to replace causing all the freezing issues. Might as well wait until there is a better solution, means waiting for a better PieHid64.dll or having it natively via the API system. I had the software installed while I was gathering content for the Santa Fe pack in November to prepare the arrival of the TSC-X so no wonder why all the random freezing was occurring from.

I had to deal with all these freezing issues while I was recording the horn compilation and that video is 100% recorded, now it is needed to be edited. Furthermore, I don't want to give a break from using the TSC-X since the controller is a brilliant piece of kit from Sim Workshop but seems like I have to until all the software issues are resolved.
