MODULE 1 IS FREE
Hello lovely people,
As many of you know, I teach music production, particularly how to make tunes in Ableton. Earlier this year I launched my full Ableton Live 12 course. It's on my website:
www.djgraish.com/
This course starts at the very beginning, with installing the software and making your first tune, and takes you all the way up to the more complex stuff in an easy to follow and structured way.
I'm here to answer any questions you have, so if you're struggling, email me! contact.graish@gmail.com
I have now opened up the first module so you can get started completely free!
And if you do decide to enrol, there's a discount. Use code SPRING20 for 20% off.
This code will expire next week so if you want to enrol for the discounted price, sign up now.
Again, the website is: www.djgraish.com/ See you there!

A few weeks ago I took part in a podcast episode with fellow content creator and producer @HumanSynthetics . To mark the occasion I made this little sample pack to give to my Patrons!
This pack contains classic drum breaks which have been given a some oldskool treatment, making them sound like they've been ran through an 80s sampler, and recorded to tape!
There are also a number of bass sounds which have been tuned to C and processed in my own unique way to beef them up.
Finally there is a folder of pads which were synthesised, resampled and processed by me to make them sound like they were generated by a playstation in the late 90s.
Patreon members, get Beats & Bass Vol. 1 here:

If you're not a Patron of this channel, please consider becoming one so that I can continue to make videos and downloadable content for the people!
Cheers,
Graish

What's happening people.
I recently got a chance to sit down with the legendary Human Synthetics for a chat about a variety of topics surrounding being a producer, Ableton Live user and content creator.

Who doesn’t love a free sample pack?
I recently made a video for @GhostSyndicate to demo their Producer Care Package, a bundle of free samples and presets for Serum, Vital and Phase Plant. Give it a watch and if you like the sound of the samples, you can find the free download link in the description!

The people have spoken! 83% of you use Youtube in dark mode, and 80% prefer my dark thumbnail style, so I’m bringing it back!
Thanks to everyone who took part in the polls!
Check out my Push 3 jungle tutorial, featuring the classic Graish thumbnail style 😁

So, the reason I was asking about light mode/dark mode was this:
It recently occurred to me that my thumbnails are optimised to look good on a dark background. When I switched to light mode and checked my channel, I thought it looked weird and not good!
So I’ve come up with this new thumbnail style, which is designed to look good on both light and dark backgrounds. But since I switched my videos have been performing terribly! Almost no-one is clicking on my last 3 videos! 😅
So be brutally honest, do you prefer the old darker thumbnails (blue border, blue and white text) or the new style (blue background, black and white text)
