About CAPED:
A Trust registered in the year 2014 under the Indian Trust Act, CAPED – Cancer Awareness, Prevention and Early Detection, as the name suggests, is a platform established for the dissemination of information and awareness creation about the latest developments in the field of cancer.
CAPED – Cancer Awareness, Prevention and Early Detection Trust has chosen the cause of women-related cancers with a focus on cervical cancer. Our mission is to identify and create different arenas to spread awareness and knowledge among women and empower them to take action regarding their own health.

Aanya recognized the life-saving impact of HPV vaccination and launched the CHANGE the World initiative to protect young women from cervical cancer. In the first round, she raised INR 1 Lakh, vaccinating several girls. In the second round, through CSR collaborations, she raised INR 1.5 Lakh, enabling vaccination for a total of 75 young women. Her persistence and resourcefulness exemplify how passionate individuals can drive real change in community health.

The campaign reached Bengaluru, where it spread awareness about HPV and cervical cancer prevention among more than 1,030 students through engaging and interactive sessions.
The enthusiasm of the students was truly inspiring as they actively participated, asked insightful questions, and shared their thoughts on the importance of taking the shot. The sessions ended with a lively crossword challenge, where students confidently showcased how much they had learned.
This is just the beginning. Shot of Life, a project under Sanjeevani – United Against Cancer, is led by CAPED in collaboration with Sanjeevani, News18, Federal Bank, Tata Trusts. Over the next three months, the initiative will reach 30 schools across 8 cities, empowering young minds to take charge of their health.
