Stop Making Excuses!
When the blind man came to Jesus for healing, Jesus told him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam.” (John 9:7). Now, think about it—how was a blind man supposed to find his way there? It wasn’t convenient, it wasn’t easy, but he had a choice: to obey or to complain.
Instead of making excuses, the blind man did whatever it took to get to Siloam. He might have asked for help, stumbled along the way, or struggled to find the place—but he obeyed. And because of his obedience, his testimony came—his sight was restored!
“So he went and washed, and came back seeing.” (John 9:7)
Brothers and sisters, what has God asked you to do that seems difficult or unfair? Are you hesitating because it feels too hard? Most testimonies come from simple obedience. Your breakthrough is tied to your willingness to act in faith, even when it doesn’t make sense.
Stop making excuses. Start doing what God has told you to do. Your destiny is in your obedience!
“If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.” (Isaiah 1:19)
