👉 "The quality of the final product is not defined at the wefting or wig-making stage – it’s defined the moment the bulk hair is sourced."
Bulk hair is the raw material, the unprocessed, straight-from-the-head hair that sets the foundation for everything: wefts, tape-ins, tips, closures, wigs – you name it. If the bulk hair is not cleanly cut, aligned, and preserved in its natural cuticle direction, even the most expensive machine or skilled worker can’t save the final outcome.
Here’s what professionals really look for in top-tier bulk hair:
✅ Single donor only – consistent texture and natural shine
✅ Full cuticle aligned – for tangle-free results
✅ No chemical processing – so it colors and styles beautifully

PRO TIP FROM ANDREAHAIR: You should get to the point and ask technical question with any supplier about their raw hair/ bulk hair and how they processing it to make it into extensions, because as a 15 years+ experienced working in hair business and export over 1 ton of hair to US/EU/America any month and working with hair every minutes, i have to say this fact: "ONLY GOOD HAIR MATERIAL COULD MAKE THE GOOD HAIR EXTENSIONS" thats why we have to sourced premium quality hair from healthy donors, not mixed hair, the reason is if you process with the good hair material, you dont have to add any chemical or any complicated process, just some process and it already turn into beautiful extensions or wigs, it will be more natural, last longer, saving more cost ... compared to using mixed/bad quality hair material, even with too much process, in the end, the hair is less durable, easy to tangled, dry ... ( i.e: CHINA factories have so many advance technology and machine for improve hair quality, but their final product never as good as Vietnam because their hair is heavily process with chemical, steam to hiding the real quality of the hair, maybe it look good at the beginning, but after few wash or few month using, the hair get tangled, dry, fluffy ... because they using mixed/bad hair material quality, they only good at processing the hair, but nothing can compare with natural hair no matter what process they using. -> to be honest, in this hair business : hair material is most important, good hair material = good hair extensions & wigs, no doubt.
