Music can occasionally be misheard. There are even sites dedicated to misheard lyrics... but what about misheard lyrics that are way more interesting than the original ?
EXAMPLE: Mine would be the song "Habits (Stay High)" by Tove Lo. One of the reasons I enjoyed this song is the segment where I heard (at 2:10) "Staying in my Paper Tent, where the fun ain't got no end". I thought the image of a paper tent to represent a fragile place of escape was euphoric, and a real surprise in a song as blunt as this song is. Instead though the lyric is "Staying in my Play Pretend where the fun ain't got no end". This is basically the same idea of a fragile environment that could blow over at any point, but no where near as evocative,
Give me an example of your own and format it similarly to my example above. Explain why you like your misheard version better, and then go look at other examples and vote up the ones you agree with most. Highest liked requests will all be a part of a topic video

Woke up this morning feeling calm. This album Is a big reason why. It has so much in common with my absolute favorite album of the year so far, Porter Robinson - Smile. Heavily recommended that one as well.both deal with anxiety on a ridiculous level, which I relate to heavily
