Keto in the Midst

This married mommy’s journey through keto in the midst of life. Never a dull day between caring for our household, working full-time and cleaning up my health so I can enjoy my “why.”

From childhood I have always been heavier. In high school I was a steady 143lbs., heavy at the time but healthy. I yo-yo’d with different diets and exercise trials but gained weight steadily in my twenties and reached my highest weight of 310lbs. in my mid-thirties in 2015. I found juicing at my most desperate hour and lost 50lbs. but never got my health in order. Two children later (one juice pregnancy, one keto pregnancy) I have learned that juicing isn’t going to get me where I need to go - keto will.

I’m on a mission to lose 140lbs. and eliminate my high blood pressure so that I can enjoy my grandchildren and be a blessing to my family.
