Hi everyone. I am a railfan named Justin and as a second hobby, I collect vintage and antique fans mostly box fans, so expect to see box fan videos every now and then. I live by one of the busiest main lines in the state. I have reels from 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010. I even have one reel from 1998. After 2010, I started to save all of my videos on Hard Drive instead of dvd and I don't do reels anymore. I have filmed so many trains that I went through 4 video cameras. I also have a few fan videos on a hard drive or 2, so you will be expecting more of them before long. My goal is to get at least one video uploaded a month. If you see several videos spilling out, this is because I have a lot of time on my hands and am very board or somewhat sick or something.

I am having problems right now. Nothing sever, just several things going on. My grandma has been in the hospital and is now in rehab, so I am seeing her on days I am off and not around home. I am having several doctor appointments and getting a new brace. That has been a challange. Also, I have been out of town most of my days I am off. That dosn't include the chores I am starting to do. With 10 acres of task, I have another round of mowing coming up, mulching leaves, racking leaves, blowing leaves, racking up pine cones, walnuts, hedge apples, etc... However, that won't stop me from uploading my older video collection. I am way behind on it. Anyways, here is a photo of the next upload.

Good news, I got my handycam program working. Now, let me see if I have the original Bald Knob Trip Day 1 clips. If so, I will reupload that video in 16:9 instead of 4:3. Day 2 video package is ready to upload. But you know me. I like to be in order. No since in uploading day 2 because it will be uploaded in the 2, 1, and 3 order. Oh, and the 1988 Lasko video is coming along. Thats turning into a multi month project, but worth it.

I have the second trip to Bald Knob ready to upload. However, I got things that I have been doing getting my rent house in shape. Meanwhile, here is an event coming up I will be going to. I will be there at 9 on a count that I have other things planed for that day. Anyways, here is the event.

My phone HD defualt camera app has some bugs in it, so I'm trying something new. I have the app I use for tape series. I tried it with sound and was very surprised the mono quality was 10x better than my phone's digital quality sound from the defualt camera app. Expect more tape quality train videos in the future. This video will come up after the bald knob day 2 video is out. Sounds way better than most hd camera videos on the tube. Sure surprised me. Now, if I can just get used to the focus.

Well, I offically finally got the videos off my camera from the Bald Knob I done a while back. The trip consisted of track work in the area causing there to be very little train traffic. As a result, I am doing a day 1 and day 2 series. Day 2 had an extreamly rare 4 train meet as a local snuck up on me. I was aware of it however for it had a green signal. Please be patiant with me. I have had several doctors appointments lately and no time to edit these train videos.

My favorite. However, the motor is not aligned causing friction in the barings causing them to get hot and evaporate the oil. I can't align it because the motor shell is broke. Would you like me to make a video of it? I am thinking about runing it one last time before putting it in my retirement fan collection. Let me know what you think with coments. I can't use it like my others because of this defect. It is a 1988-1989 Lasko thin cabnet box fan and one of the hardest fans to find in all three models; Sears, Galaxy, and Lasko. This series fan is hard to find because of them seizing up easy.
