When playing Minecraft earlier, an idea occurred to me.

What if they made a small update that revolved around mobs and armor? Specifically about 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗳𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗲.
Mobs have a radius on how close you have to be for them to be able to see you, and approach you.

𝗦𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗵𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘂𝘀.

For example, wearing iron armor in a snowy taiga will mean mobs will have to be closer to you for them to actually notice you. Gold camouflages in a desert, diamond in the ocean, and netherite in a mangrove swamp.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗱𝘆𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗿, red leather armor in the nether, green armor in a plain field, and blue will also work in the ocean like diamond.

Is this needed. No. But I think it'd be kind of cool, and also kind of a way to have perks on your type of armor.
