Hey everyone! I'm Kris, also known as The Quadratic Attenuator, and welcome to my Youtube channel! I've been using this channel to upload various types of gaming videos for well over a decade! There hasn't been much activity on this channel for a few years due to job and general life circumstances. However, I am hoping to make a return soon! So be on the lookout for new videos.

18 Years Ago, I created this YouTube channel. In 2008, "Halflifefan84" wanted nothing more than to watch some dumb GMOD video with HL2 Beta Characters. Now, that very same channel is legally an adult. (Oh god, what does that make me?☠️)
While others may have a lot more to show for 18 years of content creation than a measly 700 subscribers, what YouTube has provided for me was far more enriching than fleeting validation from strangers.
Since joining this platform, I've had the opportunity to create lifelong friendships with some amazing individuals. When I grew up and stepped out into the big world, YouTube was still by my side, nurturing my random curiosities in various hobbies and my field of study while I was figuring out this IRL thing.
On the flipside, I'm not the same person I was almost 2 Decades Ago (Thank God) and neither is YouTube (Dang.) I can only imagine the sacred Timeline, where YouTube never sold out, you could still rate videos 5-Stars, and shoutouts were THE PEOPLE'S algorithm.. I can dream, okay?
Anyways, I just wanted to Thank everyone I've met on here that took the time to engage, comment, and/or subscribe!

September 18, 2024 - Long lost W.I.P. thumbnail of my Chemical Agents Warbond Review video that never was!
This is not just a nostalgia post, I also wanted to update you guys on the status of my channel! My life imploded last year and I lost a lot of creative motivation. I've still been playing Helldivers 2 in my off time, as well as working on a new video!
Let's just say - December 2025 will be a good month to be a Polar Patriot! 😁
