Marah's Odyssey

Greetings! My name is Marah. You might know my channel by its previous name Marah Talks history which as the name suggests I talked about history. But now I have made massive changes to the channel which I want to share with you.

I originally began my channel when I was in 11th grade and the reason why I started this channel is because I really love history and I don't really have anyone to talk to about it as its often a subject considered boring so I decided hey why not start a channel and talk about different topics relating to history to an audience who are interested in the topic so on the 17th of october 2022 I released my first and most popular video on my channel about emperor heraclius as at the time I was researching about heraclius as he is a really fascinating eastern roman emperor so I decided to make the video as I was researching about him and after that I uploaded a few more videos about different topics that interested me and I researched them while also editing and recording.

I was in 12th grade when I uploaded my last video which was about the terracotta army I actually began the process of editing my St. Guinefort video back in May but I couldn't complete it as I was focused on my studies and exams since it was my last school year and Alhamdulilah everything went well and I was really happy to be done with school.

As for univeristy I applied to the veterinary medicine program which might be a shocker to many but not to my family and close friends as my first passion before history was and still is animals.

It was a dream of mine since I was 6 years old to become a veterinarian as I love animals so much and I have 8 years of experience rescuing and raising animals within the best of my capabilities it was such a rewarding experience to help a sick and weak animal and see it turn into a beautiful, healthy, energetic creature full of personality and with it I also gained companions throughout the years.

And so Inshallah I want to share with you my journey as a vet student as well as my passion for animals and so I decided to change my channel to not only be limited to history but also many of my other interests such as animals, paleontology, literature, astronomy, science, horror, sports and so much more and so I changed my channel's name from Marah talks history to Marah's odyssey because I am indeed going on an adventure to experience new things in life but also I wanted my new channel name to have something that has something related to history to honor my previous channel name and what better than the most iconic piece of historical literature the odyssey which is named after the long journey of Odysseus returning to ithaca from the trojan war and is also the first history related thing I took in my first year in my school which I graduated from back in 9th grade

I know many of you are here for mainly history videos and don't worry for I will still be uploading history videos but I hope you also stay and enjoy seeing my future videos whether they are about veterinary, astronomy, botany, paleontology, literature and so much more and please do bare with me as I need time to research, edit and upload videos while also doing my studies and focusing on my personal life so it might take me a while to upload videos but Inshallah I will try to upload more often.

Expect new videos about different topics of my interest soon as I already have a couple ideas in mind but I will give you a sneak peek of the next history video as well as a video related to one of my other interests cryptozoology I plan to make soon Inshallah.

Greetings, everybody! I know its been a while since my last video, but I am excited to announce that I am working on a 7 part series which I won't give any details about to keep you all in suspense as I wanted to make it special! In the meantime, here is a sneak peek of my next video as I try to get used to uploading on youtube once again, and the video's topic is one which has fascinated me and I wanted to share it with you all before I start the 7 part series.
