I’ve taken a little break from posting over the past week or so, but hope everyone had a happy holidays and new year.

Instead, I’ve built 5 different apps to solve little bottlenecks in my business. I’m addicted to building.

I even built an iPhone app with Vibecode that I use daily and am considering selling in the App Store. What a time to be alive!

Did you build anything cool over the holidays? Would love to hear about it!

Here’s ALL the big AI news that dropped over the past week:

- OpenAI releases GPT-5.1
- OpenAI tests ChatGPT group chats
- Microsoft unveils MMCTAgent
- NotebookLM allows uploading images
- NotebookLM adds Deep Research
- DeepMind unveils SIMA 2 agent
- Anthropic invests $50B in U.S. AI infrastructure

It honestly felt like a slower news week this week in AI. GPT-5.1 is cool but still feels like a fairly marginal improvement (IMO).

Next week, on the other hand... Get ready. I've got a sneaky feeling we have a busy week ahead of us... Microsoft Ignite is happening AND there are tons of rumors and leaks circulating around Google Gemini 3, Nano Banana 2, and a few other things that I'm aware of but not allowed to talk about yet.

So I'm anticipating big announcements from Microsoft and then Google to follow within a day or two with their own big announcements.

PS - Anything I missed from this week's news?

Excited about some of the new videos I'm working on and I think they'll be some of the most helpful I've ever created. I want to do a quick pulse check though...

What's most important to you?
