No news video today due to a heavy travel week and the fact that there's not really much interesting AI news this week.

Here's a few things that were interesting that I might cover in a video next week. They were all fairly minor improvements so, if I did make a video, the whole thing would basically be a short rapid-fire of everything.

- xAI launched a new coding model
- OpenAI made projects and memory available for the free tier
- OpenAI launches branching feature for conversations
- OpenAI talking about launching a LinkedIn competitor
- Google adds real-time translation to circle to search
- Google photos can now animate photos with Veo3
- NotebookLM has a few new audio formats to generate audio in
- Apple launched FastVLM for instant video captioning
- ElevenLabs has a v2 of their sound effects model
- WordPress unveils Telex, AI for WordPress development
- Amazon launched Lens Live, AI-powered visual search for Amazon
- Atlassian acquired The Browser Company
- Warner Bros sues Midjourney over generating trademark IP
- Anthropic agrees to $1.5 BILLION settlement over copyright

Are any of these topics, something you'd want a deeper dive on?

💡If you could automate one part of your creator workflow today, what would it be?

I’ve been experimenting with Spotter Studio – it’s an AI workspace for Pro YouTubers that helps you organize ideas, generate scripts, test titles, and a bunch more.

Which task would be a game-changer if you could automate it? Cast your vote below 👇🏻

Excited about some of the new videos I'm working on and I think they'll be some of the most helpful I've ever created. I want to do a quick pulse check though...

What's most important to you?

Really proud of this new video format that we created. I want to take this channel to new heights by delivering new and interesting deep dives into the corner of the tech world that we all love - Artificial Intelligence. This first version is a look at the complete AI historical timeline up until now, and what I think are the key events that have shaped what we're seeing today. I would be grateful for your opinions on how we did, so that we can include your feedback in future videos. Excited to share the next one with you!!

Just a quick heads up that I'll be publishing the week's news recap on Saturday this week. Tons of news to distill and a crazy travel schedule is causing me to push it a day. In fact, I'm considering releasing the news videos on Saturday mornings going forward so I can ensure I'm as up-to-date for you as possible.

What’s more interesting to you (from a content perspective). I’m playing with some new formats on top of my news breakdowns and tutorial videos…

Hit with a bad flu this week and haven’t sat at my computer in 4-days now. Hoping to be back in the game by the end of the week but taking it easy for the next couple days. Please hold off the singularity for me until I get back.

It's been a minute since I did a quick vibe check. I want to make the videos you want to see. From the poll options, which are you most interested in? I'll continue to make all types of videos but your input helps me steer what to prioritize.

I'm going to start getting in the habit of going live at least once a week to play with AI tools live, talk about latest news, and do AMAs. They'll be super casual, hang-out style streams where we'll just see where the chat takes us. Should be a lot of fun. :)

First one today at 11am Pacific.

It's been a while since I've created a new step-by-step tutorial video. I'm itching to make some more tutorials. Are there any cool things that you've come across lately or want to know how AI can help you with a specific task?

I'll reverse engineer it and then turn around and create a tutorial for it.
