Most likely going to revert back to the dx9 discrete for all audio testing. I think it might just offer the best canvas to keep things consistent within the wh tier list, especially as most of my testing has been with a topping dx9 and/or topping stack. Love the fiio k17 r2r, but I do worry it may cause inconsistencies if I continue testing with it in the future - again only because prior testing has consistently remained on the same power source.
I have had nothing but good experiences with my topping dx9 - my discrete did cause some issues recently, but I have a new unit coming to see if it resolves my issues. I will test the silicon again on my new dx9 discrete when it comes and provide updates if needed

You all have been responding with such great feedback on the Arete 2. So happy that you all absolutely love them so far, and recognize what we attempted to achieve with them. I don’t post often about them because I don’t want to be that guy that milks his own collab, but just know you all have humbled me with your comments and I appreciate my community and all of you very much. Keep slaying in game family!

www.linsoul.com/FreshreviewsYT - Hoped to provide enough color options for your setups 💪🏽 and as always, aimed to provide an exceptional tuning for gaming (for all games not just one title) and that can cross over into other media (music movies) and punch above its weight. Can’t wait to hear everyone’s feedback after the original did so well 💪🏽
