1. Writing — my forever soft corner

It’s been 5 years of journaling my thoughts, but 2025 became the year I finally stepped into poetry and storytelling.
Now, every time I get free… I write.
Poetry, scripts, random ideas, emotions—everything flows onto paper.
Somewhere between healing and expression, writing became my favorite place.

2. Reading Fiction — the world I escaped into

I started reading back in 11th grade with my first book Ikigai.
This year, after finishing 12 self-help books, I finally stepped into fiction…
and honestly, I fell in love.
The way authors create emotions, details, worlds—fiction felt like magic I was missing all along.

3. Taking Pictures — collecting moments, not things

At the beginning of this year, I promised myself a new phone because I love taking pictures.
I finally bought it in July—just to make my inner child smile.
Now, whenever nostalgia hits, I scroll back…
and those little moments feel like time capsules of happiness.

4. Learning — my quiet passion

Coming from commerce, I discovered subjects I genuinely enjoy:
marketing, corporate law, and even psychology (my minor).
Learning new concepts, new perspectives, new possibilities…
it makes me feel alive and curious.

5. Exploring — my first love

Whether it’s going to new places, meeting new people, or trying something different…
exploring gives me instant joy.
New cultures, methods, activities—everything feels like a new page in the story I’m writing every day.

Recently, while participating in a documentary project, I discovered a side of India’s informal economy that we often overlook. Street vendors aren’t just selling food or everyday essentials — they are quietly powering our economy in ways that truly surprised me.

Here are some insights that stayed with me:

1️⃣ A simple bhel puri vendor earns up to ₹20,000 per day — far more than we usually assume.
2️⃣ Street vendors together generate ₹80,000+ crore annually in urban India.
3️⃣ They create more self-employment opportunities than many organised sectors.
4️⃣ Each vendor indirectly supports 2–3 additional workers through their supply chain.
5️⃣ They act as a major absorber of urban unemployment, especially for migrants.
6️⃣ Despite long working hours and thin margins, they keep food affordable for millions.
7️⃣ With over 50 lakh vendors, an entire ecosystem of families depends on them.
8️⃣ They help stabilise inflation by offering low-cost alternatives to restaurants.
9️⃣ Even without fixed shops, they contribute to local economies through informal daily fees.
🔟 And surprisingly, many handle 300+ UPI transactions daily, showing how deeply digital India has reached our streets.

This experience changed the way I look at everyday street corners. Behind every cart, stall, or hand-pulled tandoor, there’s a story of resilience, entrepreneurship, and economic impact.
