Sorry for my radio silence, BUT IM HAPPY TO INFORM I’VE BEEN WORKING VERY HARD TO CONTINUE ANIMATING THE BIG ANIMATION AGAIN!

I really do think it will be my best work to date once it’s finished :) (of course though, not the best animation ever to exist, I still have MUCH to learn, but it’s the best I can currently do to date! :D!!) I’m still trying to hopefully aim to finish and premiere this before the end of August, as I’ll be entirely busy with school after September for my last year of schooling :( So please wish me luck as I try to hopefully finish this all by then, and hopefully the next time I update you all, it’ll be me announcing that this little passion project animation has finally been completed and ready for premiering :)

Unintentionally, this drawing comes full circle after a full year :)

In good news: I’M TRYING TO MAKE A REALLY EDIBLE (colourful) ANIMATIC FOR YOU ALL! :D!! (Hence these sneak peeks I’m showing you all :)

In bad news: I’m taking a break from the big animation by making this really animatic in the meanwhile! :3 (I’ll return to the big one though after this!) I got kinda down that I struggle with backgrounds and colors in general, so I decided to try and practice it and make it an emphasis for this short animatic!

In more good news: you get a sneak peek into Skylar’s backstory— (early childhood), which I didn’t expect to explore at ALL until I ended up brainstorming a 5000 word draft of his backstory, and it’s so incredibly wholesome and angsty at the same time (to me :3)

I will continue to try my best!! I hope me poking around with being more diverse and creative with colors makes this unexpected update enjoyable for you all :)

Very messy, but a future lore crumb for Skylar… :3

I planned to give you this short looped animation on the week break I had, unfortunately as I thought a few months ago, I really think I’ll only be able to animate fully and freely June-August because of school, so I’m sorry for the wait in the meanwhile 💔 Once that time comes, I’ll be pushing to fully animated and coloured animation of Skylars lore!!! (very much think of it as the opening to an animated show :3! I think i mentioned before, that it’s going to be over 2 mins of animation too :3)

I hope the next time I update, it will be me in June/July telling you all I’ve completed the animation and am ready to release it. Other than that as always, I hope you’re all doing well ❤️ Things don’t have to be perfect, but so long as you’re doing okay, that’s all that matters I’ve learned recently ❤️ :) See you guys soon hopefully, as always, I hope you are all doing well :)

(No, I have not abandoned my silly guy Skylar, I have many plans for he >:) I just definitely was supposed to be studying earlier, but saw this frame of Invincible floating around on twt and could not stop the voices from drawing it :))

In terms of my silly guy, which I’m planning on making an animatic for when I get the proper time in June, I can only give 2 of my very messy drafts I have atm I fear :)

Okay, so the plan is: I’m gonna be making an animation for Skylar (my silly villain OC), but in the style of a opening to an animated show, if that makes sense :3!! I know I’m going round about how I get this story out, BUT you all will certainly be in for a treat I think, bc I will be teasing SO MUCH LORE, that funnily enough, you might get a good idea of how the plot generally goes from what will be in this animation :3

THAT BEING SAID— I hope you all don’t mind me taking my time this one— There’s irl school for me, which has gotten more difficult and I need to make grades above passing, BUT ALSO!!! I really do want to spend my time making this— Not only does it let me have more fun and not get burnt out fixating on the need to put out something asap, but I also still want to test around, and learn in the meanwhile— Whether it be backgrounds, a bit more actionable and fluid scenes, I really do want to learn while I make this silly guys story :3

Not sure when it will be done, but even if I’m not active online much for the next while, just know I will still be trying my best to poke at it between school and life, and showing you all my silly guy!!! Hope you all are doing well, despite how busy life can get!!! :D!

(It’s not much, but the first image is indeed the first frame for that animation!! The gif is part of a different really short WIP I was working on, that I think I’ll finish after this big animation :3)

The animatic I promised is finally out… and by that I mean ANOTHER ANIMATIC FOR EPIC THE MUSICAL, for Hold Them Down!!! (If you’re gonna watch/listen to the song it’s a part of, PLEASE review the content warning before its animations!!)

But!! incredible honor it was to be able to make an animatic for the Ithaca Saga— Truly, to be able to contribute some of my art for such an incredible project for music I’ve enjoyed for the last 2 years alongside incredible and some of my favourite artists of all time, is an experience I’ll never forget and always be grateful for. Jorge and the cast of Epic really made something timeless and incredible, and I can’t wait to see where further projects lead to:) ❤️

And if you haven’t already, go stream THE ITHACA SAGA!! All of the songs are so good, and the ending song absolutely wraps up the musical perfectly, and it’s never too late to get into Epic, when all of their songs are so amazing, and the community is absolutely love and fun!!

AND LASTLY AND ALSO IMPORTANT: I’m gonna try streaming today!! A rare feat, which seems only to be annual, so if you want, please stop on by!! I’ll be trying to animating, and answering any auestions and talking about everything!! (Epic, my silly villain guy, art, and life!!)
