Welcome to my channel
Please join me on adventures in nature and life on our farm in southern Ontario, Canada. I worked for 30 years as an ecologist, been a bird watcher for over 50 years and have travelled throughout North/Central America, the Caribbean and the U.K.
We will observe wildlife, vegetation and discuss ecological principles. We will hike many trails (both local and far afield) , discuss gardening techniques, share construction approaches for outdoor farm buildings and other projects, practice art and enjoy our dogs and horses. And probably discuss some esoteric topics every now and then...
I hope we can share stories and our experiences to help improve our knowledge and understanding of 'living in concert' within the environment.

Hello everyone. I hope you had a nice weekend. Our temperature has dropped to -4C this morning and projected highs for the week range from 4-8C. So winter is on the way it seems.
