The only stuff I have noticed is my dolls have almost gone into hiding or something because my favourite ones haven't been accessible ever since I started making M3GAN.

I really must keep an eye on that...

I am about half way through the hair phase and because the lighting changes very regularly in M3GAN, her hair catches different colours which presents a small challenge for finding a hair match.

I have some doll hair wefts in golden blonde, dirty blonde and I may add a little rose gold into the roots for a touch of warmth in her hair. I already love the dirty blonde colour on her and the highlights will add some depth to her hair style😇🥰

M3GAN has soo many fun or spooky expressions you could give her but you have to still keep the innocent doll expression as the base of the project. I feel like the hair will help shape her face a little better when attached🥰

I'm so sorry it's taking me ages to finish her. I work full time so this is an evening and days off kind of project. I'm hoping she will be worth the wait!

The eagle eyed of you will notice her subtle smile and slightly off eyelid and eye placements. These are an homage to the robotics used in the film puppetry. Each control and puppeteer has control of every feature in her face including separate eyelid, eyeballs and mouth.
Though this movie is far from scary, it still delivers some doll horror elements and works great as a slasher film!

Hi folks! Sorry for being quiet on here, I work full time and genuinely forgot to give you all updates🙃

I realise with my ADHD brain, projects won't release or be finished in order but I will get them done. I don't have photos of M3GAN's hair wefts yet but it's a fairly good match in colour grade at least. The dress material colour is like this for a reason, official outfit will be made soon.

We are making great progress now!

I'm finalising some stuff on the mini prototype Gromit to make sure I apply all of the correct steps to the life size version. Eyes took a minute to figure out and the eyebrow sculpt worked out as I had planned😅

Gromit has worked out to be about 4' 5" which I predicted and little 5' 1" me has had to carry him up and downstairs to our living room when I was crocheting his body!

I'm back at work Monday so my next progress post will probably be Wednesday or Thursday with any luck 🤞🤞
