Some of you may have noticed a lack of content coming from me in the #FantasyBasketball space recently

I won't be making any more basketball content this season and I want to explain why ⬇️ 🧵

I create #fantasybasketball content as a hobby, it's not my job, and as much as I would like it to be I need to prioritise my actual business which is exercise physiology.

I don't want to put out content that is not up to a standard I'm happy with.

I've been falling out of love with the NBA and fantasy basketball. I started podcasting in 2020 and since then the dynamic of the league has changed from my pov. More than ever the ticket to success in fantasy basketball is capitalising on injuries and player absences and when creating content surrounding this I need to have my finger on the pulse more than ever. Content I put out stays relavent for 2-3 days max at a time, which would be fine if I had the time to put out something 4-5 times a week, but I simply don't.

Doing content in the pre-season is a different beast to staying up to date during the season especially as an Aussie who works during the day, limiting my ability to watch as many games as I'd like.

There are many great podcasts / youtube channels out there doing fantastic things and I have been struggling to balance creating content that is valuable, original and sustainable for me which adds unique insights that isn't already done better elsewhere

I don't have the capacity to pump out podcasts every day so I need to find way to provide value a different way and I'm still figuring out what that is

This won't be the last you'll see of me, but it is me stepping back for now.

Hopefully to produce better things in the future

For now I am going to turn my attention into preparing for the #AFLFantasy season which has captured my heart and has my creative juices flowing a bit more. Hope you all can understand, goodluck with your #FantasyBasketball season ✌️
