The Bloody Path Home

Hello, fellow travelers.

For the past year, we have walked this road together through forgotten myths, dark hymns, haunted stories, and bloodstained dreams. We have stood before ancient gods, wandered through ruined places, and carried a torch into the darkness to see what waited there.

Now, I want to invite one of you to join me on that journey.

Hidden somewhere within this community may be a poem waiting to become a song.

If you have written an original poem, lyrics, or piece of dark prose that you would like to hear transformed into a fully realized musical work, I invite you to share it below.

One submission will be chosen and forged into an original Bloody Path Home release, becoming the first song of 2027.

What the selected author will receive:

• Full author credit on the release
• A collaborator invitation on YouTube where applicable
• Original human-played guitar written and recorded specifically for the song
• Custom vocals and arrangement built around your words
• Direct involvement throughout the creative process

If your work is selected, we will walk the road together. I will share riffs, lyrical adaptations, demos, and creative decisions as the song takes shape. You will have the opportunity to provide feedback throughout the process as we bring your words to life.

Submission Guidelines:

• Your submission must be your original work
• Poems, lyrics, and short pieces of prose are welcome
• Suggested length: 100–1,000 words
• Dark fantasy, gothic, horror, mythology, folklore, historical, emotional, and atmospheric themes are especially welcome, though all genres will be considered
• By submitting, you grant permission for your work to be adapted into a musical composition and accompanying video if selected
• I may make changes necessary for musical structure, pacing, repetition, and arrangement while preserving the spirit of the original work

Selection Process:

I will choose several finalists from the submissions that call to me most strongly. The community will then help decide which work becomes the final song.

So if you have words hidden away in a notebook, buried in an old folder, or lingering like a ghost at the edge of your thoughts, now is the time to bring them into the firelight.
