Lately, everything feels loud and heavy. Personally. Politically. Collectively. And I think a lot of us are trying to figure out when to speak, how to speak, and what really needs to be said.
Between the state of the world, the tension in our communities, and the questions we’re all holding about what comes next, I didn’t want to rush past the moment.
I wrote this letter as a way to carry the wins, the grief, the growth, the love, and the lessons into this new year — gently, intentionally, and together.
If you’ve been carrying a lot too, you’re not alone.
you wake up day and night reaching for your demands just to be met with nos and maybe next times, ready to give up. i get it but take a second and look at how far you’ve come. here are someways i’m noticing my dreams coming true despite the challenges.
1. i am researching the “no” and strategizing my plan to a yes. someone who fails to plan, plans to fail.
2. be patient and not fast to accept or transform into anything that doesn’t align with your values. there will always be so many projects to work on at once, be slow and steady to protect yourself.
3. connect with god and pray. thanks to another creator i use the “prayminder” app and it feels amazing to have sample prayers be sent daily to me i align with. read 1 peter 5:7 ❤️
