12 hours without electricity or any phone service yesterday felt like a short example of what the apocalypse will feel like. Many people panicking and confused. Others reaching for whatever tools and devices they could find to try and bring some light into their lives. Or like me, some went out for a walk until it was over, although it was almost midnight when the 'power' came back. I relied on some of my camping gear for a few hours and also tried to film a timelapse of the stars above my house, given that it was so dark, apart from the odd car headlights lighting everything up, but all the lights came back on an hour or so after i set the camera up. Until then I read a book by candlelight and felt grateful i am from a generation before mobile phones, because pretty much every person i saw who wasn't, looked lost. #blackout #lookout #copout #getout

Hello happy campers! I'm hoping to be out hiking this coming Sunday but then I'm off to Ireland a few days later so not sure I'll have it edited before i go. (My crappy day job getting in the way of my happy life again) In the meantime, here's a picture of one of the many train tunnels that hug the coastline here, which i took while out on tonights power walk/arse dragging. Some lovely smells along there where the wild herbs grow. Rosemary. Tarragon and Lavender as well as some lovely flowers growing. Hope you're all managing to get out and all being well, I'll have a new video for you soon. New video dropped yesterday so if you're looking for a quick, short video to watch, then what you waiting for!? Me and my mate slinky just wanted a simple weekend so headed to a campsite, had a hike, had a BBQ and headed home next day. Simple is the new difficult. Get on it 🙂👍🏻

I decided to delete my last video. Wasn't happy with it and after watching it back, it didn't really say or really do what I wanted it to. I will make another one but in a better setting and different light conditions to try and portray what I was trying to do.
I'm off camping and hiking this weekend so I may be able to do something then.
