Firstly, thank you so so much for the wholesome, supportive and loving comments I received on my recent vlogs!. It means a lot especially during this transitional period and the slight change that's going to come with it both for myself and my sister and my family to. Thank you! And welcome to my new subscribers!! Where did you come from 😂. It all helps it really does it keeps me motivated and moving to keep creating the content I want to and enjoy as well as what you folks enjoy watching to!. Thank you 😊❤️.
Secondly, the past eight days have been a bit busy, tiring, sad, reflective and a bit to process. My sister is back home after her major surgery (c section) after giving birth to a very cute and cuddly little girl. I was up and down with hospital visits but the staff were so good with her and made us both feel safe and like family. I'm going to miss them. I will always remember that day when she came to me and said "I've taken all the tablets" it upsets me just writing that because if I hadn't have asked for help her and the baby wouldn't have been here. But, thankfully the baby is fine healthy and a little snorer 😂. I'm thinking about doing a video for anyone struggling mentally before or after child birth because I've seen it first hand. I wouldn't know how to live without my sister 😢.
I have taken a step back from doing TikTok livestreams out of respect for my sister in case she needs me I'm always there, in my room at home or on the other end of the phone if I'm out. Just being there for her at the moment making sure she is OK. I don't want to venture out of Fleetwood or to far as she's still quite fragile from the surgery and obviously thinking about her little girl to.
But I do have some good stuff coming up on my channel rest of the year. It's been unpredictable, surprising, good things have happened and we aren't at the end of the year yet. This will be one to remember. I'm also thinking about booking Blackpool Zoo again as school holidays have officially begun and so the park will be a bit livelier I also want to go see the new extended Giraffe habitat. 🦒
I appreciate you all so much! Every like, subscriber, viewer, commenter, everything. It doesn't go unnoticed I'm grateful for the small community I have here on YouTube, my platform to express how I feel, an insight into my life without giving out to much 😅 and a place to chat with people.
Hope you are all good and have been enjoying the recent vlogs. More to come locally and from Blackpool to.
Thank you again for everything and for being wholesome. I don't have big numbers, I have what I have because I've been able to grow naturally and those who are still here have decided to stay to support, watch and chat!.
It's been an emotional couple of days for me and my sister. I will get back to everyones comments soon. Just need a bit of time to make sure she's OK and myself to. Not fully processed everything but she's OK and so is the baby!.
This year I had a goal to get back to writing. Something I have not done since 2018 just after my mum passed away. This was something my mum supported me with as I was an author with a big London Publisher I decided to go with.
Now, a few years later and having signed the contract to end my partnership with them I became a self published author on Amazon!. I have been with them for a few years now having written three books and now my fourth with this one!.
Briarwood Lane has been getting a bit of attention online recently and had it's first few purchases from friends and friends of the family. I have been through a couple of things mentally past years or so and wanted to portray those feelings and experiences within the characters of this story. I'm happy and proud that it's been getting a bit of attention and for me to get to write this as part of one of my goals for 2026!.
Briarwood Lane follows a young mum who's daughter dissappears. She falls into disrepair, drink, depression, physical abuse and mental health as well as loneliness. A brand new family move into Briarwood unaware of the history and what goes on inside a creepy bungalow owned by an old guy obsessed with young people instead of his wife. This story follows a few different groups of people and surrounds mental health issues, isolation, bullying, love, loss, grief and obsession.
It highlights a few life mottos from personal experience and what I have learned through the road of life!. It's also suspenseful, positive and about finding yourself again after life's struggles even when you feel like giving up!.
Released a week ago only on Amazon I hope this helps someone going through what life has to throw at us sometimes. Both the good and the bad and can relate to the characters.
Thank you for reading and hope a couple of you can pick it up for yourselves. This one is a bit personal and I'm glad I have written it in the way I did. 🙂
Guess who was brave and had his blood taken today?. Yep you are correct!. Slightly bruised and sore but I'll be fineeee.
Hopefully see what is happening and why I'm feeling so overwhelmingly tired all the time. Had another ecg scan to but that was fine, I'm hoping my doctor says so anyway 😅. Had to many late night's past few months that have been building and building which I think is the main reason why I'm feeling so drained both mentally and physically but could also be a change in blood levels or even low iron.
I've not been doing to great mentally past few days I don't really talk about it in vlogs only the small bits I do but I tend to keep it all in and to myself. I have friends and family I talk to away from YouTube and who I've met through TikTok live. But sometimes it all becomes to overwhelming and over stimulating especially as an autistic adult and you have to just stop, breathe, think and rest.
Got myself back into the swing of vlogging again which is good so I'd like to keep on top of it. I'm looking forward to sharing all the good stuff from my home town of Fleetwood and of course Blackpool to. Summer, fireworks, Illuminations, Lightpool and of course the big end of year event, Christmas.... Shhh I said it 😂😂🎄🎅.
Thanks for the support on my recent vlogs to! I don't look at the numbers but when I do after a few weeks I surprise myself. Thank you so much!! 😊❤️✌️.
Without me even noticing how well my recent vlogs have done due to being occupied with a couple of personal matters it has come to my attention that they have done upon looking back.
It's not a huge number but it's huge to me!. Because it makes it worth it what I'm doing and to keep putting out all the good stuff!. Thank you so much folks!. I love this little YouTube community I have built and now having freed up a bit of space in my mind I'm looking forward to getting back to regular vlogs again. Got some good stuff coming up so stay with me to see what that good stuff is....👀
Thank you to each and everyone of you who watches, likes, comments and shares! All of it is really appreciated. I'm no big vlogger but what I do have is a good community of people who always come back to watch!. Think I'm going to grow old on YouTube 😂 (if it's still around when I'm 60 odd).
Firstly just want to apologise for the lack of content these past couple of weeks. Truth is I'm just not feeling up to it and having no motivation to making it difficult. But I have not forgotten my channel or you guys I do have a couple of vlogs coming up. But as far as the near future goes I have nothing at the moment.
Secondly I'm not doing great within myself both physically and mentally. I'm exhausted. Couple of weeks ago I experienced my first ever panic attack!. This happened while on my way out of Fleetwood on the bus to Blackpool to go shopping. At the time I was completely fine. Heart rate was fine and so was I. It was busy however with holiday makers etc. I hadn't been out of my home town of Fleetwood for a few weeks before this as I rarely venture out now. I sat on the bus when all of a sudden I got a sharp pain in the back of my head and immediately after a weird sensation all over my head. Straight after that I thought I was going to black out. I was panicking, fast breathing etc. I was going to explain in a vlog but thought I'd write it here instead.
The feeling was as if I was going to die putting it bluntly. I was scared and still am. I was fine rest of the day in Blackpool. Nothing happened. Then just last week I experienced my second full panic attack at home while resting. Same sensations and feelings of dizziness and like I was going to pass out. That being said I have made an urgent doctor's appointment. I have to have an ecg scan for my heart and chest and have a general checkup as I don't want it to get worse to the point I can't leave Fleetwood. My anxiety is up and down and so is my depression and I feel like I'm so far behind with all these other vloggers putting out so much it's not left much in the way of ideas for myself as I feel like everything has been shown already. I try put my own take and ideas into each video as I keep myself to myself along with my channel. I'm so sorry there's been no proper vlogs especially from Blackpool. I feel like I've missed out and still do.
I have some good stuff coming up though rest of the year but with this new experience and health scare I need to take things slow because I'd rather not black out when in public that would be very awkward 😂. Miss talking to you folks in vlogs but along with the tiredness, anxiety, depression and now a brand new thing, panic attacks, it's making it a bit difficult for me. Now is the time to start thinking about my health a bit more.
I was going to ride to Blackpool this weekend but I don't want to push myself or my body so I'm thinking another bus journey vlog? This time heading back to Fleetwood once I've vlogged in Blackpool. Keep an eye out for whatever I decide to do if I can get one vlog done and up that's great because I'd feel accomplished. 🙂.
Thanks so much for sticking with me, I'm fine otherwise. Met some good people on TikTok through the lives, one person that's really important to me and means a lot to me right now as well as new people finding me and ultimately becoming friends with away from the app.
Hope you are all good. Again I apologise for the lack of vlogs. With the panic attacks I need to be mindful of them now. I don't want to get worse. I will let you know the results of the scan next week but in the meantime listen out for me and thank you for sticking with me!!!.
I checked the weather for this weekend and it's meant to be sunny and warm. That being said I'm thinking about a ride up to Blackpool from Fleetwood. I will vlog while I'm there just thought it would be nice to take the bike I have been doing up for its first trip to Blackpool. (it's already been complimented on in public) 😃.
Hope you are all doing well, second part of my ride the lights preparation vlog will be up this week! 🙂.
Cleveleys Car Show was another awesome success!. Busy crowds and plenty to see. I took a few photos which will be on my Instagram... robinson19971_ and I did film bits to.
That vlog will be up in a couple of days and I have part two of my ride the lights preparation vlog ready to go up to. Two brand new videos waiting for you all.
Hope everyone has had a nice relaxing weekend and see you next week for the first of two new videos. 🙂✌️
side note: how I managed to stop myself from getting behind the wheel of one of those Mustangs (my dream car) I do not know 😂😂😂.
She's home from the fixers. One less brake but new inner tube and new back brake. Just needs some color adding now which will be in the next part of the ride the lights vlog series.
