To stay is to exist, to travel is to live.

MY SECOND TIME IN VIETNAM 🇻🇳
My first trip was in November 2023, during the “winter” season, when I explored the colder north alone (Hanoi, Sa Pa, and Ninh Binh) for 6 unforgettable days.

This time, I spent 4 days in Central Vietnam with my friends, soaking up the summer heat in Da Nang, wandering through Ba Na Hills, and strolling the lantern-lit streets of Hoi An.

Hot, cold, or anything in between, Vietnam keeps calling me back. And next stop, it’s definitely South Vietnam!

Ocean view from Hilton’s balcony. This is, by far, the best hotel we stayed in here in Da Nang, Vietnam — the best service from friendly and thoughful staff, the best room and amenities, the best food choices, and a very nice view of the sea and the city! Thank you Liv, Miss Mai and everyone there for your service! #danang #vietnam #travel #vacation #beach @hiltongardeninndanang

As Women’s Month comes to an end, I am reminded of the immense expectations placed upon women, especially on mothers. Nowadays, women are expected to be independent: to work, build careers, earn, manage households, bear and raise children, and be more than just mothers. We are called to be teachers, best friends, confidants, and fortresses of our own offsprings; to care for our husbands and even our elderly parents or in-laws, shoulder emotional labor, maintain financial stability, and find solutions to everyday challenges. And often, we do all these while setting aside our own mental and physical well-being.

The burdens are heavy, the expectations endless, and yet the appreciation too often falls short.

As a woman, I see you, I feel you. Life can be unfair to us the lovers, life-givers, nurturers, and jills-of-all-trades.

And so, I want to honor and thank ALL WOMEN, most especially the mothers, who have given so much of their mind, body, and spirit to build and sustain families. Huli man daw, HAPPY WOMEN’S MONTH pa rin sa atin!

Aaaahhhh why am I crying? 🥹🥹😭😭😭

The first ever Monday when I had to be in a National Costume-inspired attire (will be wearing such on the coming Mondays in compliance with Philippine Civil Service Commission policy).

Today marks three years since I first embraced solo travel. Before that, my journeys, spanning more than a dozen countries, were always shared with friends and family. Taking the leap alone was daunting, but I challenged myself by venturing into five states across India — a country vast, complex, and especially intimidating for a woman traveling solo for the first time.

I felt fear, excitement, and exhilaration all at once. Yet those two weeks reshaped my perspective of India, revealing a side far richer and more personal than the one most people imagine. Time has flown, but the friendships I forged in Delhi, Faridabad, Agra, Amritsar, and Manali remain close to my heart. I even met wonderful companions from Bangalore during a grueling 16-hour bus ride. The connections I made were all so genuine that I know I will never forget them. #india #delhi #agra #manalidiaries #amritsar #faridabad

My first visit in Malaysia was in Kuala Lumpur with my sons and husband back in 2019. I am back in Malaysia after 6 years, and this time in Malaysia’s Sabah State (City of Kota Kinabalu) with my sister! We have been enjoying our stay here. Terima Kasih #kotakinabalu #sabah #malaysia
