Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers around the world. 🌹🪷🌸🌷🌼

I made it at the 11th hour for the week...! I hope you are looking forward to this one! Arcturian Starseeds video will premiere Sunday at 3:00pm EST/12:00pm PST or 4:00am JST! Still adjusting to my first quarter as a graduate student 📚

During my 3-4 days working on this video, my Premiere Pro did not crash even once. It usually crashes every few hours. And no, I didn't do anything differently this week!

During the editing process and catching up with my friend who asked me about upcoming workshops, I decided to do a re-run of my Free Intro to Gridworking Workshop in August (08/19) The Festival of the Stars, or 07/07 in the Lunisolar Calendar. I haven't decided if I'll be giving YouTube streaming a try (if I can figure it out by then), or it'll be a private (free) Zoom workshop again! :) Will keep you posted on it as we get closer.

Sharing photos from my walks last week in Maruyama Park and Nakajima Park in Sapporo, catching the very tail end of Sakura season. I saw people doing Hanami on the national holiday, just enjoying the sakura petals as they are being blown by the gusts. It's been raining the last few days and my cats, who enjoy going outside, are having cabin fever! My neighbor's sakura petals from 4 houses down, have been blown into my garden, so it feels kind of nice and poetic in the rain, as I remain indoors nice and cozy and working away in my office!

Very excited to share Part 1 of my "Study BaZi With me" series! It will be live 4/18 at 4:00pm PST or 7:00pm EST

Growing up, I was like, " What is all this numerology, mathematics and statistics stuff *brain automatically shuts down and tune out!*

As an adult, I find reconnecting with sacred geometry, numerology, symbolism and archetypes a lot of fun. While admittedly not my wheelhouse, I am always eager to explore and learn something new, and see if it fits with my worldview, or not, so I'm inviting you to study along with me!

I notice a general increase of awareness of Chinese Zodiac archetypes (ie: Lana Del Rey talking about the Fire Horse and commenting that she's noticing how many more people are talking about it!) around the world, whether it's because global brands are eager to take advantage of another sales niche (ie: lunar new year, special limited edition items), or a result of global and 'glocal' interests, the result is a wonderful expansion of Chinese culture and archetypes ('華夏文化,' that goes beyond modern geopolitics boundaries).

Whether you are interested in deep diving in Destiny Arts/Numerology, or simply learning about Archetypes, symbolism, Daoist Metaphysics, and Applied Daoist Philosophy, I hope you will enjoy this video! Eager to hear what you think :)

Here it is! "Giving Birth" to a video (lol) on the surface is filming, recording, editing, uploading. But sometimes it's can be an accumulation of a life-time or life-times of learning, healing, integrating, and synthesizing. Some videos are more of a "giving birth" than others, but for me, I want to improve each time and bring something new. This is why I decided on Athena's "Garden" :). Plant the seed, see how it works out, with time, love, energy to tend to your plant. Will it become the olive tree, or will it go back to the Earth to be recycled and something else beautiful can grow from there?

With a little trepidation, I am answering my viewers' questions - and it is a hot topic. No matter how you feel about these heavier topics (Media Manipulation, Politics/Geopolitics, Public Figures), it is all around us even if we make sure to take mental wellness breaks by prioritizing self-care as world events that are out of our control unravel.

I try to keep that balance myself, between being a 'public figure' with my small and steadily growing channel. There's an element of safety I feel. So I felt some resistance the first time my dragons nudged me about Professor Jiang. And then a little nudge here, a liltte nudge there, to a comment on my Lana del Rey analysis, to receiving a DM about Professor Jiang.

What finally gave me the courage to add it to the list of questions is remembering what my mentor ‪@CosmicEmpress‬ said to me when I brought it up to her about the A.I. hot topic. "Remember, 499 is NOT 500!" and my other Teacher/Mentor ‪@tiffany144‬ said in one of her workshops - I'm paraphrasing, "It's not about you. It's who you can help when you show up!" So with that, I'm bravely speaking my thoughts and truth about what I see / channel, and the important reason behind these seemingly unrelated events happening on Youtube, as I see it has a greater symbolic meaning for our collective right now.

What I see in the creators I like, the common thread is that they value respectful discussions. You don't have to agree with me and what I say, but inside Athena's Garden, hate speech, threats, ad hominem (personal) attacks, are not welcome. You are welcome to criticize my opinion or respectfully disagree with other community members' opinions, but hate speech also violates YouTube community guidelines.

What a week it’s been! The snow 160cm of ice finally melted here in Hokkaido, and I picked out tiles to start my first ever garden from scratch! My friend on the East Coast suggested I plant Red Clovers to add nitrogen to the soil last fall, and to my surprise they sprouted! My cats are happily re-surveying their turf and enjoying time downstairs with me during the day. During the winter my office is much colder than upstairs since heat rises so it’s been joyful to see them find me downstairs and stay in my office again 🌱

Happy Birthday to Mother Guan Yin 觀音佛祖! Today, 4/6 is 2/19 of the lunar calendar, and is said to be the birthday of Mother Guan Yin in her lifetime as Princess Miao Shan. The other most celebrated day is 6/19 of the lunar calendar, the day she attained enlightenment, or integrated into the Thousand-Armed Thousand-Eyed Guan Yin. We use the phrase 得道 or 成道 - attain or becoming, being one with the Dao, or the day of awakening and full embodiment.

Sorry about this low-res photo of the beautiful calendar I invested in for 2026 Fire Horse. It's a limited-edition calendar by 2 creators/designers from Taiwan (www.flyingv.cc/projects/36799) that takes the traditional daily calendar that is similar to the Chinese Farmer's Almanac, and you would tear a sheet out daily, or save the beautiful illustrations as a collection. I received it in February in Japan, and only started using it intermittently. My 2026 has gone by in such a blur so far!

Long, dense, and analytic (haha..!) I try to bring in ALL of the literary references Lana wove into the short film #Tropico, but I layered in "Pistis Sophia" to help make sense of the self-initiation and "descent" into the "dark night of the soul," if you will. Whether you view that as a gnostic/non-canonical text or simply as a work of fiction, Lana as Sophia journeys into the abyss, fragments, struggles, in this separation, and gets rescued again by Christ/Christ Light/Christ Consciousness.

There will not be a full-length video up this week because I'm starting my Master's in Transpersonal Psychology this spring (this week!!) 🎉 I will have to adjust my uploading/creation schedule, but fear not: I plan to continue here on Youtube, continuing my goal of creating content on Spirituality, Science & Creativity to my community of creative, conscientious people in a global world, here on Athena's Garden TV!
