Happy Father's Day to all you Fathers out there. That includes the Stepfathers out there π
Video link below is a clapperboard that was used in the making of Stepfather II (1989). There were three films in the franchise. The third one was direct to cable (HBO). Anyone remember these films?
On this day, in 1989, Prince released the soundtrack album to the 1989 film Batman. The album stayed at number one on the Billboard 200 for six consecutive weeks, being his first number one album since Around the World in a Day, while its lead single, "Batdance", became his first number-one song since "Kiss". It is certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The soundtrack was initially envisioned as a massive duet between Prince and Michael Jackson but that did not happen due to MJ embarking on his massive Bad World Tour at the time.
The Batman soundtrack consisted of 9 tracks: 1. The Future 2. Electric Chair 3. The Arms of Orion (with Sheena Easton) 4. Partyman 5. Vicki Waiting 6. Trust 7. Lemon Crush 8. Scandalous 9. Batdance
