Sup homies?! Spending my weekend participating in the closed alpha of Wardogs this weekend! This one could be a game changer!
Think of it as a mix between Battlefield, Arma, and Squad. Classless, 100 person three-team warfare with tons of different ways to play, really awesome so far!
It's under a strict NDA right now, but just know I'll be recording a ton of footage, enough for two or three videos after the NDA lifts. Do you guys have any aspects of the game that you're curious about? Let me know!
I hope you guys are having a great Friday! I see a ton of you watching and commenting on my last couple videos, and I'm ecstatic. I love making highly edited, theatrical-type videos, but I also love that you really seem to enjoy videos where I'm essentially just messing around, chilling and talking like we're all just hanging out together.
So that has me thinking - would any of you guys be interested in watching me stream? I've always been a long-form content creator, with very little streaming experience - but I feel like it would be fun for a couple days a week to hang out with you guys for a few hours, chill, interact, while I hunt cultists and bosses, do goofy challenges, or run silly meme builds you guys submit. I think with Kord Breach right around the corner, I'd actually love to have you as a live audience and watch me fail spectacularly in PvP!

I'm working on a new video where I try Icebreaker for the very first time. I was super excited to make it when I started, but a big, glaring problem started recurring for every attempt.
As soon as I load into the map, and approach the first door (where the rogues and Knight are), my fps gradually starts to go down. It starts in triple digits, and as I unseal the door and go into where the first staircase is, my fps plummets to as low as low 50s/high 40s. If it was stable at that fps, it wouldn't be a problem, but I get constant microstutters around that section, especially when I ADS. As a result, two of my attempts saw me dying to the first set of rogues, because it was nearly impossible to aim. As I get away from the staircase, my fps increases back into the triple digits, and then dipping AGAIN into low 50s, right at the engine room - literally the worst place for it to happen. I told myself my goal for this video was clearing the engine room and helipad, and then extracting right after.
I finally did it on the fourth attempt, but it was really rough, for all the wrong reasons. The thought of clearing all the black division from under the helipad and then fighting Wedge makes me physically nauseous.
Incase anyone is wondering, my hardware specs are:
7800x3d 7900xt 32gb RAM Game installed on an m.2 SSD.
I tried pretty much every setting tweak possible, clearing my cache, updating my drivers and chipset, using all the AMD graphics tweaks like FSR and Smooth Motion, nothing helped with the problematic sections. I get around 140-150 fps on all the other maps, and the game runs great. I was absolutely mortified at the performance of Icebreaker when I tried it for the first time.
Is it just me, or is the map really that unoptimized? If anyone has any settings adjustments or tweaks that I haven't tried, feel free to let me know here. I know my setup isn't exactly top of the line, but it's definitely not bottom of the barrel. There should be zero reason for a game to perform that badly, at the lowest settings, on a rig with my specs, at 1080p. Even STREETS runs better than that, so you know that's saying something.
