I’m so happy to share the beginning of this year-long journey among the flowers, starting with one of my autumn favorites: dahlias! 🏵

In this first chapter, I explore their beauty, discover their stories and meanings, and experiment with different ways to bring them into my art journal.

🌸 A new flower story is about to begin…

I’m starting a new year-long art journaling project: The Flower Stories — a journey through 12 flowers, one for each month, inspired by the flowers I’ll be exploring in my monthly newsletter.

In my next YouTube video, I’ll introduce the idea behind the project, decorate the cover of the journal I’ll be using, and swatch the materials I’ve chosen for this year-long creative journey.

Part 2 of the Floral Zine is officially complete! 🌸

July is Zine Month, so it's the perfect time to fold a single sheet of paper into something special!

🌸 In my latest video, I'm sharing a brand-new zine folding technique and using it to create a handmade floral zine inspired by magnolias. From the first fold to the final layers of mixed media, each page celebrates the quiet strength and timeless beauty of these wonderful flowers.

This project grew into something bigger than I expected, so I've divided it into two parts. In Part 1, you'll learn the folding technique and watch the first three spreads come to life. Part 2 will complete the zine with the remaining pages.

One of my favorite creative projects over the past year has been creating seasonal journals inspired by the flowers featured in my monthly flower guides. 🌸

Each season, I gather the blooms we've explored together and transform them into a handmade journal filled with color, layers, botanical inspiration, and stories waiting to be told.

These journals have become a way to slow down and connect more deeply with the changing seasons, one flower at a time. From discovering their meanings in floriography to translating their beauty onto the page, every journal feels like a celebration of nature's rhythms and the creative journey they inspire.

It's been such a joy to watch these collections grow from monthly guides into seasonal keepsakes. 🌿✨
