Fire and Grace with Miss N

“Dayenu” is a real ancient Jewish worship expression meaning, ‘It would have been enough.’

I first heard it in The Chosen Movie and it pierced my heart deeply — how God’s people declared that even one act of God’s goodness was already more than they deserved. It reminded me that even if Jesus never answers another prayer the way I want… everything He already did is more than enough.

So I wrote my own personal Dayenu to honor Him.

✨ MY DAYENU FOR YOU, LORD 🤍🙏

• Lord Jesus, if all You ever did was save my soul but never give me the blessings I pray for — it would have been enough. Because Your blood has already done more than I could ever deserve.

• If You never open the doors I’ve been crying for, and You keep me in a season I don’t understand — it would have been enough. Because Your “no” is still protection, and Your timing is perfect even when mine is desperate.

• If You choose to heal others while my own healing seems delayed — it would have been enough. Because Your goodness is not proven by what I receive, but by who You are.

• If You only give me strength to endure rather than the miracle I wanted — it would have been enough.
Because endurance shapes me more deeply than comfort ever could.

• If You correct my heart instead of granting my requests — it would have been enough. Because correction is mercy, and holiness is better than answered prayers.

• If You strip away what I held tightly so I can learn to hold only You — it would have been enough. Because losing what’s temporary is gain when it leads me closer to You.

• If You stay silent for a season but never abandon me — it would have been enough. Because Your presence in the silence is better than any earthly answer.

• If You give me grace to keep walking even without the outcome I hoped for — it would have been enough.
Because grace to continue is a miracle too.

• If You never fulfill my plans but faithfully fulfill Your purpose — it would have been enough. Because Your purpose is perfect, and my desires are limited by what I see.

Lord, even if You never do the things I long for, what You already did on the cross is more than enough forever. ❤❤❤
