Hey kids and squids, I'm in a quandry about how I do my videos, and I'd like your input.
For the last two years, I've been editing and cleaning up my audio manually to remove the breaths from them. I watched a lot of other content creators, especially MatPat, and noticed that they didn't include the breath pauses and things like that in their audio, and I liked it because it felt like a cleaner, more "professional" delivery.
But, things are starting to change and AI voice overs have started becoming more prevalent. I've actually had people think that my narration was AI because it was missing breathing.
So my question is - does breath pauses in videos bother you? Does it feel less "polished?" Would you prefer to hear that so you KNOW the creator is actually human?
